Well I would say The Burkharts always on the run of course, but also the three singles from McKinley James’s new album Working Class Blues. The entire thing is a great listen and I highly recommended it

Excellent fun & informative review. I've seen this one in shops and I wrongly assumed it was a cheap knock-off compilation. I'm always looking for Beach Boys recordings with great sound quality. It's really an extension of Endless Summer & Spirit of America.

Maybe you should listen to the second cd or lp . Listen to the old version of those songs and then listen to the new releases they sre more modern snd more up beat trying to get younger kids involved in the music.

Hi, Giggs! Thanks for your July. 4th Beach Boys contribution! Happy 4th! I remember calling Mike Love when he was a guest on Larry King's radio show quite awhile back, and asking him what his favorite Beach Boys album cut was. He replied that "The Warmth Of The Sun" was his favorite album cut, how beautiful it was, and gave the history of how the song came about. It's actually my favorite album cut, as well. And they (and you) have included here as well. "She Knows Me Too Well" and "All This Is That" are amongst my other favorite Beach Boys album cuts, as well. Have a great day!

Even though the original was a hit, it’s almost become the forgotten version of the song (George Michaels’ version seems to be the one that overshadows the original version).

I definitely can appreciate this album. Enjoyed the listen for the most part. “Long Tall Texan” conjures up too many stereotypes though. I know it’s not a Beach Boys original. But What’s up with ten gallon hats?
