Should add a "Wake Rigid Body" node before setting the constrained components so that if the target is asleep it'll actually do things.

TOO FAST, terrible editing with annoying cuts (especially in places where you finish something). Just blink and you can miss something very important. The content is very cool, but your tutorials are EXHAUSTING. Overall, very good work, but.. it could be better, more enjoyable.

As someone who stopped making youtube videos for 3D, I think expecting to always make the "highest quality" videos is what killed my passion for it. I just wanted to make short cool videos that didn't have to be perfect. But the negative comments killed it for me. Im sorry you're struggling too.

It happens. I think something that really helps me is that most people who have something positive to say, will say nothing, and are more likely to comment on something and say something negative. I have had people say many things to me while I was active. However most of them were wrong, I got the job, I established myself as a developer and I still have people messaging me saying I was the best at teaching VR dev for Unreal. I want to do that again, I just need to make the time for it.

I can't get VR to work in 5.4. I open the VR template in 5.3, and it just works. I open the VR template in 5.4, and I get jerky head movement, bad shadows, no visible hands, and no controller input. As in, I can't turn using the controller, so the issue is, that the VR controllers are not even detected. Again, works just fine in 5.3. But VR in 5.4 is broken. Broken bad. I am also using an HP Reverb G2 headset. Not a Quest or anything like that. So, my VR headset should not be an issue. Not when it works perfectly in 5.3. How did you get VR working for you in 5.4?

First, let me thank you for these videos! You've been nothing short of a lifesaver teaching all the details of your workflow. Truly remarkable!! I however wanted to see how can someone go about adding more animations for items. In my particular project I added 2 animations, one for a bottle hold and another for a small item. They both have lids or caps and I was hoping to add more animations to each. I thought of adding it to the Grab Type and building additional logic like what you did for each grab however I do not know what to do in the Blendspace given that it can only hold 3 animations. Should I make another BS and make some type of node that combines them to plug it into the Output Pose?

I goofed up with my words, when I said gesture controls, I meant gesture animations. As in thumbs up and pointing if you guys remember, I made a tutorial that had to teach us how to do this but now it’s added automatically so we only need to focus on procedural grip.

Gesture controls have NEVER been good. There's nothing more irritating than waving your hand or arm in a dumb way for nothing to happen. Then again and again and again, and now I'm so fucking pissed off, I refuse to use the "gesture" that saves me 2-3 seconds and a couple button pushes.

ive did it with photoshop and sadly unreal was not detecting other udim textures and had to regenerate it in sub

@@hoho7029 I did make it work. I've enabled "Enable virtual texture support" in the Project Settings. Plus, I have to number the TGAs differently, like ending them with .1001, then .1002, etc. An example would be "standingLamp_N.1001" then "standingLamp_N.1002".

you are a life saver, substance was creating horrible bakes for this one model, no matter what setting I changed it wouldn't work, the last thing to try was cage file, so I googled it and ended up here. And after expanding the vertexes like you did, I saw that substance was doing the same thing and that's what caused the distortion
