What the hell is that irritating, stupid, hazy type of film involved in this video? It ruined it for me. It isn't artistic or smart, it's shit. Won't go near anymore of Harms idiotic guff.

No doubt that Lionel Messi is/was a fabulous football player. Also, no doubt that in 50 year's time, we'll see similar comments to those on this video from clueless, context-unaware youngsters along the lines of 'but was he really that good? Giorgio Rabonero from Real Barcelona can score goals with his tongue while completing a double back-flip with a half-twist'. Like all great footballers throughout the generations, Best and Messi stood apart but were standing on the shoulders of giants.

What people forget is we would have won the WC in 58 and 62. We had already destroyed Brazil in 56 and got a draw against Sweden in their ground. That team had Matthews, Wright, Haynes, Edwards, Byrne and Taylor. Brazil could only get a 0-0 4 months after Munich at the WC. You add Byrne, Taylor and Edwards to the 58 squad and nobody touches them. By 1962 we had added Moore, Greaves and Hunt. Great player as he was, you wouldnt be talking about Pele without Munich.

Italy was with ten men from the third minute of the first half (Rivera was injured). There were no replacements at that time. There were nine of us in extra time (defender Bercellino was also injured). The USSR's misfortune (defeat on the script) fell to Italy in the semi-final of the 1960 Olympic tournament, again at the Naples stadium, against Yugoslavia (the match ended 1-1). We also point out that the Soviets don't complain about the draw in the slightest. Which implies the smooth running of everything.

The goal was rightly disallowed. Law 12 says 'A goalkeeper cannot be challenged by an opponent when in control of the ball with the hands'. The rules then (and now) were that raising a foot in that way when a keeper is about to clear the ball is a foul. The fact that there was no contact is irrelevant. If Banks had followed through with his kick then he would have broken his ankle. Having played in goal in local league football this rule is one that you remember! Not sure that the title is great. Both Best and Banks were fantastic players.

Fck me, that was the single most spectacular goal I have ever seen in my life and it's not even a single minute into the video. Did this man just made the opposite team's defender tackle the ball in his own net?! How... he curved the ball *away* from the net just enough so that it would rebound in such a way that, when trying to get it away from the net, it would go forward instead....???! Ok. He IS the best.
