I think in the penultimate game Jim got too hung up on trying to cast the ramp spell for value. He should have just cast it turn 3 and played his 5 drops on turn 4.

Wait a minute, why is Hostile Investigator, the detective that makes clue tokens, in the Wild West set and not in Murders? Jim dissing Great Train Robbery and immediately missing lethal with it and getting Cruel Ultimatum'd was some karma. And then he plays Robbery for lethal in another game and somehow ends up getting Ultimatum's AGAIN? EDIT: Having now watched the whole thing this was the craziest episode of the series.

Unbeliever. I feel like this draft went poorly and involved some choices that don't make as much sense to me as they do to you.

I think "pro tour shape" hurt Jim this time, this is a set where the differences between bo1 and bo3 and between pod and arena were larger than usual.

I've gotta let you know that your theme song has paid dividends. I'm a KZfaq enjoyer who rarely likes videos simply because I forget but your theme music has become an audio cue to hit that like button and I never forget.

NONBELIEVER. Just feels very mopey and not sure if it wants to be a crime deck or a midrange value deck. Sometimes those type of decks overlap but I don’t know if we have just enough good cards to BE a value deck. I WILL say that we had a very tough seat, not sure what I would’ve done differently if anything.

NONBELIEVER. Like you said, it didn't come together in the end. I'd honestly pull out the drover grizzly and loan shark for some spring splashers. You only have a single 2-drop, and it can commit crimes for your other cards, which is something at least.

Train Heist is the best combat trick printed in ages 😂 I love that it wheels and I can play two. No one expects you to rob the train a 2nd time Ed 1:05:00 - ah - that’s why Jim thinks it’s bad. SO many missed board wipe turns up to this point lol The only punt was not listening when chat said that heist is trippple red and adjusting the basics to compensate so you could cast more than one red spell in a turn 😂

Saying the Untapped data is like the 17L data 😂 It’s nowhere near the quality of data, but the product is much easier to use.

BELIEVER. This has been my favourite archetype to play so far. I love getting into a situation with blockers and two rakish crews where they just cant really attack anymore.

BELIEVER. Black/red has been my favorite archetype to draft and this deck looks great!

Honestly good to see Jim going back to basics and counting his creatures, working towards a synergy and generally deckbuilding.

But if you draw Crews enough, your outlaw count should carry you. Though i expect long games with chip damage. Imo. I like Pack 1 picks 1-3. Imo. Pick 4. Taking land over vault plunder was iffy. I think you were too married to Annie. While vaults are great CA for the B/X decks. I felt it was clear by the end of Pack 1 that Br was opened, and GW was contested.
