And love hearing your excitement :) ps - I'm the guy who said hi to you guys when we were both coming out of launch yesterday at marina (telling you Brandon used my photo of Gordie Howe Bridge for his FB fishing page). Nice to meet you guys! And glad you found these good spots. I've only been fishing Detroit River a couple seasons and know a lot of good bass spots but the one's i normally hit hard - my trolling motor and main motor props are getting wrapped up in weeds. Anyways thanks again!

Amazing catch guys! Are you simply jigging similar to walleye and bouncing off bottom? Or initially bouncing off bottom but slowly reeling lure towards up vertically? And I'm thinking it's 25-28' deep there where you first caught?

Eastern Erie here,,,, we sure miss the perch'n. FWIW,,, Next time, try a 3 hook Sabiki rig, glow in the dark beads, with a small strip of belly cutbait on each hook. 1/2 oz bottom bell sinker to stir up the mud & make the 'thump'. see how it compares. ;>)

will have to try that but I dont use live bait or cut bait nothing against is I do for catfish or carp but I love to learn how to target and finesse them it really rewarding laerning a technique
