For reference the stabilisation modes are different - 1 is for horizontal and vertical ad 2 is for panning shots and tripod stuff where it is only for horizontal movement

Don't buy this Manfrotto monopod. I've been using it for wedding videography and after a while the locks don't work anymore. I have to get it fixed, it is not that got loose. For the price it should be more reliable

Very good demonstration! I've been struggling to decide to go with my R5 for videos, or maybe look into the new 6K full frame Cinema from Blackmagic Design. But after seeing this, I may just hold off on that idea... The colors, and clarity are great in this video. Good job!

Only thing it left me wondering was why you chose "Computer" in the Format during export, and what the pros and cons are of choosing "Video & Audio" versus "Computer". Up till now I've always just done "Video & Audio". Which setting do you suggest sending clients for say, social media or KZfaq uploads? I see that both do H.264 so that doesn't need explanation. Hey Henry, saw your comment on another channel about the R3 and clog3 vs HDR-PQ where you made a solid recommendation for HDR-PQ. I didn't want to comment on that channel because I didn't want to stir up the hornet's nest. Are you still in favour of HDR-PQ as a workflow vs CLOG3 at an ISO below the base 800 (100 was what you recommended for the R3 in dark scenes to control the noise). I've begun messing around with a rec709 CLOG3 workflow in DR and I am reasonably happy with the results but there is a tad too much noise in the shadows for my liking at ISO800. i was planning on trying ISO100 but then stumbled upon your HDR-PQ recommendation and decided to reach out. Looking forward to checking out more of your channel when it's not midnight here in the UK. Subbed. 🎉

I have met some pretty awesome people who are from Chagrin Falls Park. I would come and play basketball at the open gym with one of my neighborhood friends from Chagrin Falls Park. I graduated from Chagrin Falls High School however, I would visit Chagrin Falls Park and feel such a kinship there. I've had one of these for a few years. I have now reached the point where I have to remain seated for most of my photography and I have discovered that this slider works great to enable me to move my camera in a variety of directions without having to move the tripod or pick up and lay down the camera all the time. I can also "slide" the camera completely out of the way to adjust lights, product, etc. I do agree with your assessment that in other situations it is way too heavy, awkward, limited, and expensive.

Ohh, so that thing is called a spigot. I bought a light and found out it doesn't fit on the 1/4" screw of my tripod. Now I know what to get. Thank you!

It only has one screwhole , im worried that it will wiggle under a heavier setup like mine.

So if filming with the 50mm, and you change focus - like from a hat rim to the face.... the squeeze factor changes too and the image "zooms" slightly? I often chase focus in a film.... oh dear. Great video! Deserves wayy more views. Love the way you explained everything a normal video would but instead of just talking at the camera you used sample footage. Excellent. I also have a question - on the 50mm what happens if you were to change the focus mid shot, which is fairly common when the subject is people? Is it unfixable in post due to the squeeze factor changing mid shot?

I love everything but the infotainment system. For someone who is only 5'2" the screen impedes my view even with my driver's seat elevated as high as it will go. They should have placed it into the dashboard. I love everything else, I just wish maybe they gave you the ability to lower it, or fold it down or something! Anyone else having this problem?
