I was wondering if having the air pockets in the bottom glass could lead to a potental break in the bottom glass? Would t you want to roll the adhesive on the entire bottom portion of the glass so there were no pockets of air where the adhesive didnt cover?

That silencer cap is very simple but clever, im mad at myself for not thinking of that... Put my overflow on the shelf cuz of to much gurgling noise from it. Now i might get rid of it! Im using this type of overflow ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rKiqh9Jzysq1Zmw.html&ab_channel=perchFIX ) but got the same weir as you do.

What kind of bacteria? Did you know bacteria doesn’t live in the water column ? Might be two strains but that is pathogenic bacteria, how about the microcrustaceans isn’t that what i need to be dosing as its impossible to keep them in check in aquarium , plus what you saying is bullshit as im messing up the biom balance every time i dose for no reason

Fadi suggested it as a recommendation rather than a necessity. Additionally, nobody mentioned that beneficial bacteria reside in the water column. While it's not an absolute must in all cases, dosing beneficial bacteria is highly recommended for reef aquariums. Adding these bacteria helps establish and maintain a stable environment, promoting the well-being of corals and fish. It can be especially beneficial during the initial setup of an aquarium, after major disruptions, or when faced with issues related to water quality.

A80 is not enough for that tank.. youll probably need 2 but that still wont be enough. You should've bought the a160
