Great idea. For the smoothest cutting of pool noodles, you can use a lightly serrated bread knife. Many dollar stores also sell a plastic "pool noodle knife" made specifically for cutting pool noodle foam. I bought one for $1.25 and it helps to keep the wife happy. 😉

I love pool noodles for odd cushion or insulation hacks around the house and shop. One thing, if I may, is at the beginningand later in the video, you add the letter N to the word that means tight. "Taunt" means to tease or annoy. "Taut" is "tight." Peace, and thanks for the tent tightening tip!

Don't-cha just hate when you find a video on how to do something simple, and you see that it is 15, 25 or more minutes long? I think about that, plus ad time, and know if I go down that path, I will not get that time back. Also, videos that have no narration, and show every single tiresome step involved to make something crafty. Wasted time, just to get to see the finished item at the end, where you would decide if you wanted to do that yourself or not. Raining outside today, so I have time to ramble here! 😂

Great idea. I have friends who have booths like that at festivals and fairs. BTW, it's "taut" (sounds similar to "taught") not "taunt", which means to tease or insult someone.

@@mrmicro22 Sometimes people don't know something until they know. And pedantry is about miner differences in word meanings. These words have completely different meanings. I'm not sure what the word would be for pronunciation. If I had to invent one maybe I'd suggest "phonicsist."

Thanks so much for creating this content. I have a whole collection of canopy tops, that I repurposed as tarps, all because I've left so many pop up canopies out in the rain, only to be collapsed by the weight of the water that eventually collected in them. It is amazing how heavy water can be and how easily it will just crush and buckle all the framework of a pop up and it can't be straightened out, so you're left with just the cover. Noodles are definitely a cheap enough precaution to try, at least. Thanks again.

Great Idea, wish I had know earlier, in UK a few weeks ago a thundersorm opened up on our gazebo and the water pooled on one of the sides, the weigth broke the supports and bucked two legs, completely wiping it out in a few minutes. Hopefully this will prevent it happening again.

hey there. what kind of vehicle do you use to bring all your materials and gear when selling at a farmer's market?
@anchoredmarketventures
@anchoredmarketventures 4 күн бұрын
We set up markets so we have a full size truck and 14' trailer for all our gear. Most vendors use everything from a car, small truck, to a full size truck, van, or truck and trailer. It really depends on what you are selling and how much stuff you'll be bringing to sell and to set your booth up.

Local farms don't process meat in according to the farmers markets schedule. They process meat when the animal is ready to be processed. During the time at the butcher the meat is frozen so there really isn't any "fresh" meat at a farmers market. For example cattle may be processed in June and that meat will be sold frozen at the market through the summer and into the fall. That said the meat will be locally raised and you can ask the seller questions about how the animal was raised and processed.
@anchoredmarketventures
@anchoredmarketventures 2 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment! I agree to an extent with your statement. Local farms do process meat when the animal is ready. Local farmers here process meat that gets them through a certain period of time and to fill outstanding orders. For small local farmers that normally a month or two. They try to continuously have process dates scheduled throughout the year to keep up with market sales and order fulfillments. It’s frozen because USDA requires that for resell and because like you mentioned, what doesn’t sell that week can be kept frozen for future sales. I would differ with you when you say there isn’t any fresh meat at a farmers market. That may be true in some instances in some places but not all. We agree with you that customers should ask the seller questions including how it was raised, diet, and process. Thank you for your perspective!

Your so right nothing pisses people off more than no prices on items, what have they to hide. An old couple asking the price of some cheese Mr stall owner stated its $15 a lb but for you $13:50 gee big price hike said the old man no no no said Mr stall owner its $15:00 a lb & I'm letting you have it for $13:50 a lb old man said well let me show you something old man pulls cheese from his bag & shows it to Mr stall owner & said this is the sam cheese is it not Mr stall owner knowing cheeses said yes it is but doesn't look as fresh and creamy as mine old man said that only cost me 9:50 a lb Stall owner said the quality isn't as good as mine old man said it's exactly the same cheese as yours no no no mine looks far creamer and softer old bloke turns around taps a young guy on the shoulder son where did you buy this cheese son turns around looks Mr stall owner right in the eye & said off this guy for $9:50 a lb and not the $15:00 a lb you quoted my dad then made out like you were doing him a solid by offering it to him for $13:50 when its $9:50 some of these people wait to see how gullible you are first
