I’m dealing with PF after having 3 disc bulge flare ups and sciatica last year..improper footwear and probably caused all the issues at once! I have the pins and needles feeling all over my feet since. Does PF do that? Have started shockwave therapy under my physio and calf raises to strengthen the muscles. I’m also advised to wear stability shoes like ASICS kayano for the time being to help with the healing. I’m hoping all this helps! The feeling of hopelessness comes and goes and it’s not easy to keep myself motivated to keep going.

Hello Doctor, I have been suffering BPPV since long. But it appears when I eat any food which hard to my stomach, like last time I ate fish after that I started dizzy. Some time beans also make problem and I feel BPPV. Why is it please
@lordy666621 сағат бұрын
Had this ridiculous problem in both feet for 8 years now, absolutely nothing works, tried all the exercises, all the massages including calf, ankle and shin. Steroid injections worked at first but with each injection, they became less effective and the last ones I had made both of my feet numb for 3 days so I'm terrified to have any more. Nothing at all works if you have this condition chronically, there must be a 100 of you youtubers offering advice, all of which contradict each other. If you have this chronically then I am sorry for you, I'm just trying to live with the pain now :(

@yvesouza5143 күн бұрын
This is literally the opposite of what everyone tells you to do. Since I haven't been trusting the medical field lately, before I came across this video, I had decided to do the opposite of what they've told me to do. I stopped going to therapy because it wasn't helping. One of the things they told me was to never walk barefooted, that it would make it worse. I must say, it did hurt in the beginning, so I would walk barefooted for 10 minutes, then I was able to do 30 minutes and now I can be barefooted for a couple of hours. I do feel that it has helped tremendously. Although I'm not completely fixed, I don't have the pain I used to. Every week I see improvements with walking barefooted and following some of the things he says on the video. I've had PF for over 2 years.

Thanks for sharing, a lot of people have a hard time with this advice because it goes against the common medical advice. The truth is the medical community has never been very good at treating plantar fasciitis so it does take a different approach. I’m glad you’re making progress, keep up the good work!

can tinnitus accopnay this type of attack?
@StronglifePhysiotherapy3 күн бұрын
Good question, BPPV attacks usually don’t cause new tinnitus symptoms but that’s not to say it’s impossible. If the type of vertigo attack you are having matches the symptoms of BPPV it’s worth giving the half somersault maneuver a try.

The injection itself can create a healing response
@StronglifePhysiotherapy6 күн бұрын
If it’s cortisone that’s being injected there is zero healing effect and this is verified by multiple studies. It’s purely a treatment that treats the symptom. Cortisone actually has a tendency to break tissue down even more. A needle inserted into the fascia can create a new healing response but that effect is likely negated by the cortisone. Eventually the cortisone wears off and pain comes back or in some cases the healing happens before the pain comes back. I’ve seen this process play out hundreds of times.
@darylhill94006 күн бұрын
@@StronglifePhysiotherapy thanks! They probably wouldn’t get paid by insurance. If they didn’t use medication, I would prefer just the needle.
@StronglifePhysiotherapy6 күн бұрын
@@darylhill9400 very true. It’s called dry needling. A lot of physical therapists do it but you’re right it’s not covered by insurance. But if you’re going to get treatment I recommend shockwave therapy. Also not covered by insurance but it’s the most effective treatment I’ve found for PF. I woke up a few days ago and had terrible dizziness and nausea all of a sudden. It freaked me out. I skipped work a couple days dealing with it, and then went to work for a couple days dealing with it. I found this video and wanted to try this, I read comments and figured I should do the dix hallpike test to determine if it was post or horizontal canal. I got really dizzy during dix hallpike test on the right side. I then did this maneuver from the video Turing my head to the right side. A few minutes later it seems I am not as nausea and it feels like like pressure has been relieved from inside my head.

Hear me out: most providers are horrible at treating plantar fasciitis leaving their patients still in pain and seeking relief. That is the situation of most of my plantar fasciitis patients (I see hundreds every year). This is one area where it may be worth departing from the old fashioned medical advice and seeking something different. But if you’re getting great results don’t change a thing. Either way I wish you the best.

Want a cure for neuropathy - quit eating sugary foods for 30 - 60 days and see what happens - it worked for me and it could work for you. I cut out all pies, ice cream, doughnuts, Little Debbies etc... I did this cuz my A1C test reveal I had pre-diabetes. at around 60 days into this sugar free diet(well almost sugar free) and my neuropathy pains went away by 90%. Plus I lost 8 pounds and I feel better and I sleep better and it didn't cost me a dime - it actually saved me money - and the pains are almost totally gone. Thank God. Try it and see.
