They continued to stand firm that I should pay for everything, despite having paid and followed their instructions on delivery. When they were unwilling to properly handle the situation we filed a chargeback with the bank and got the money back. It was only after I assume they received that notification that they wanted to consider a discount of something. We paid somewhere around 1,000 USD for a brand new machine that was broken. We weren’t paying for anything else. I’ve never purchased from them again. I continue to always share my experience. I own an Ed Street machine with a motor and I love it and recommend it to anyone who will listen. It’s one of the best investments.

They look so cute I was also thinking I could wear them as a ring too lol One question though, I saw some other clayers saying you shouldn’t put the pieces back to bake again once glue was applied as it would release toxins or stuff. What’s your thoughts? Maybe it’s a safer glue that you’re using? What brand? Thanks a lot!

George is great. I bought a second hand slicer and it needed some repair he sent me what equated to a rebuild kit. He had me order one item so he could make shipping free. I had wanted a set of die’s for my czechstruder so I bought a 10 dollar item and got the stuff to rebuild my slicer. There is a bit of a language barrier but with a little patience it can be worked through. I did not go through email however, I “spoke” with him through messenger. I’m sorry you’ve had such a hard time. I’ve got the extruder the mini slicer and the large slicer and haven’t had a moments trouble. I am pretty sure shipping prices would be a complete nightmare to send it assembled and to keep it all aligned, but it for sure sounds like their quality control needs a bit of work. I have never bothered saving it for the clay machine because I gave myself a gnarley case of tennis elbow cranking my pasta machine so I have to use a motorized machine or it comes back. Using a drill for my extruder is great but using it for the clay machine seems like an awkward situation. I hope you’ve had some luck getting things resolved.

I spoke with him through email. To me there’s no difference between email and messenger. I understand there’s a language barrier but he was a nightmare to deal with and after my own personal experience I’d never purchase from him again, nor would I recommend the business to anyone else.

@cindyslifeSG
@cindyslifeSG 9 ай бұрын
Thank you! So, when I baked on the raw rice that was to be able to ensure the Huggies didn’t move. I adhered the posts with liquid clay and if I were to lay the Huggies on their side, the liquid clay would have dripped. So, I kept them in rice and upright so the liquid clay didn’t drip.

I am looking at Eds right now and thinking I will go with it. I am surprised polymer clay doesn't have better machines on the market but at least Ed's blades can be removed so you can clean the machine. It doesn't have to be over complicated either. So sad to see machines are in the $600 to $1,000. I like clay but not that much. So Eds being $300 and below I can justify.

I really appreciate your review. I was thinking of getting one. I’ll just keep looking… when I first saw it I thought it was automatic too lol that was a disappointment but super glueing a part of the machine? Heck no. I have no time for a company that doesn’t just send a complete replacement. I think we all could design something that does a beautiful job and doesn’t break the bank. Making an affordable and a good product will make customers come back.

@@cindyslifeSGthese are really nice❣️ cute little huggies 🥰 I do have a tip something I learned from one of the many wonderful creators I follow On the backs where the shinny area is instead of sanding etc. cover the earring post & the entire back with the same color liquid clay as the earring. In this case black. The finish is so smooth & IMO looks really nice as a finished piece. Especially if u sell your art

EDs machines are fantastic, yes, I have one, but I did need to return mine, because unrelated to EDs business of making them colored and modifying the scraper blades my problem was with the actual atlas machine, which he quickly replaced, but also I do not work for Lucy tools, but for years, I’ve been getting Amazon returns, as well as I have a stock pile of parts and replacement pieces to have ready to mail out to customers in the US. I have helped with many issues, with who is the claim machines and things happen in the mail? I don’t see in the video where your frame is bent, but it is the right size for the baby squirrel, I have every version of machine myself that I have used over the years. I have never had a problem with any of them. Some of the older models evolved into better features on the newer models., and I’m not sure whether it’s a language barrier thing in the other countries on the misunderstanding of the customer service but that’s a perception of the person who is having the problem. I’ve never had an issue or an experience where they didn’t immediately fix or replace something that was either in warranty or with a new machine. yes stuff happens in the mail. even if the box can be perfectly intact. Maybe as I don’t know why or if I ever got contacted to mail out something to you or not that is not within my realm of expertise or am I not the person that would make that decision, but they are excellent machines. I have learned to take them all the way apart and put them back together. I have also assembled probably 40 or 50 machines myself. Including slicers, and everything else what does amaze me is how many people order off of Amazon, open the box, take everything apart in the box never put it together and return it just loose in the box all floating around so that when it actually gets returned, there are acrylic, pieces, broken, or things scratched from metal rubbing plastic. Instead of packing it the way it was shipped. I hope you got your problem remedied but they are excellent machines. I’ve been using them for years I’ve been claying for 20 years., and the 2023 model of the elephant next with all the upgrades and revisions is absolutely the most incredible machining I have ever had. If anyone ever has any questions about their machines, using them putting them together, I would be happy to help although I can’t approve any kind of placement pieces to be sent that Hass to come from the company if I have them just to know they do have customer service and it most times works perfectly fine. And yes typos happen. I’ve ordered lots of equipment that had typos in it. When you’re translating from different languages, it can cause a typo or caused a typo to be missed. I’m just curious did you ever get your machine put together and did you use it or did you return it? And there’s a reason why certain parts are left to be put together by the purchaser, and the reason is for more compact shipping, if it was put together completely, and would need all the extra packing around it to keep it safe during transit the box would have to be so much larger than having the pieces taking apart the shipping will cost probably double, as far as gluing in the little end caps, there were other upgrade options you could buy that those spaces needed to be left open for so if you didn’t purchase the upgraded toppers or with collectors, then those plastic pieces would need to be put in. They also would not ship superglue with the product because of government restrictions. As far as ordering the new baseboard in the arch frame off their website, those are items that have never been on their website if someone needed to purchase those they would have to be made a special invoice directly from the company. They have never carry those openly as replacement parts on their website. There are reasons for things, and spreading hearsay of supposedly bad issues. Other People have had other than yourself., should not be really considered by viewers. And as I said, before, for years, I’ve been helping them not as an employee, but just as someone that really believes in their products and has used them and help polymer clay guild, buy them in bulk for their members without any issues. I have helped with many customer service replacement issues, and I’ve only ever heard of one other complaint such as yours and that given a little bit of time and understanding was probably remedied. Here is a link to actually how you put the baby squirrel together on their video it’s quite simple, quite straightforward. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qad_m7OYr8nLl30.html

Thank you!!!! If not cared for properly, as with all things, they will likely break. I include care cards with each purchase to help preserve each set the best way possible. It’s advised to keep them out of heat, out of water, and storing them properly to name a few! But because they’re cured properly at the appropriate temp, they aren’t brittle. 💛

You are doing both ways how i have seen. I usually do the 'ribbon' because you don't have to worry about the direction of your curls... But it works better on slightly longer hair. Also, i think you are low density too, and if you put your hand on the back you get more tension. I have mid-neck, fine, low density hair, and I have found that with the Ringlet (handle) method that i get nice curls, but it is kinda a small multiple family of curls & i cant figure out how to separate it without losing the coil. Any suggestions?

Also, just use rubber from a bicycle tire tube on the bottom of the leg. It'll level it out and prevent slippage. Agreed that no one should have to do that but ya know what, life stinks sometimes.

I just bought a Makin's non-stick machine with a motor for $100 on Amazon.
