Any ham and egger can play with his teeth. Uli is like.. 'You ain't no Michael Schenker that for sure'. This kid is ok but, kind of a waste of Uli's time Imo. btw..props to anyone who owns the War Heros album.

The ONLY advantage Paul Gilbert has over Uli Jon Roth are his excessive long fingers.

Uli.. once again cheating by putting that magical gem on his socketed Sky Guitar. Whoever equips that guitar have +100 skill points. Only you have to be at level 60 to be able to wield it. Meanwhile, Paul Gilbert's hands seems like he can play a third of the fret board without even moving position.. those hands are massive..

I want to comment but I'm finding it hard to pay enough tribute & respect to this performance. One of the top 5 shredders of all time, who started his career many years after this song was written, playing with an old master in such a happy and respectful way. And watching Uli match Paul for a while, then handing off the soloing to a "youngun" almost makes me cry. Uli is a legend, and this proves (as if we needed more proof) that Paul is one too.

Listen at 3:55. The guitar needs more...BITE. I can't think of a more fitting word. It is not any lack of ability or intensity. This is a guitar sings part and it is not full flavored. And the wah-wah effect engulfing and expanding this amazingly beautiful bit is...where. So close. Love the ending flourish.

These are such sacred songs. The difference between Uli Scorpions and Uli Electric Sun is huge. It is like the band is walking on egg shells. At Uli's direction. You are the maestro my friend. Despite the possibilities there is not enough separation. Not enough bass. Fantastic leads and nuances especially at the end. It CAN come off as symphonic where Scorps tunes are just rock. Despite poor sound quality, etc. Historic performance of Why is better. Uli, with a few minor adjustments this could be better than that. Feeling, ability is all there. Sonic-sound it. A nod to the background vocals. Nailed it just right. Uli spoken word singing fine but back him up at the more dynamic vocal parts. B+
