Im rewatching and I saw this scene just a couple minutes ago. Thank you SPN. The me that heard this song/musical years ago needed to hear this. And it made me carry on. And now as I struggle to carry on, I hear this song once more. Thank you for the journey that grew alongside my own

i'm doing my first watch through of supernatural at the moment. saw this scene about two days ago, and i have not been able to stop thinking about it for a single moment since. around season 6 or so i thought about how cool it would be for the boys to be able to hear this song canonically themselves and understand how it describes their journey, and actually having that thought realised in such a beautiful cover is breathtaking. genuinely one of the most memorable parts of the whole show, i can't even explain how many times i've replayed this scene. seeing their reactions hits me right in the gut and makes me want to cry every single time.

:59 supernatural always did a good job with details, revisits, and explaining holes. Few times with monster of the week shows they did x, y, and z, had me say something in my head about how that’s not right, then the show goes on to say this is why why can’t do a,b,c anymore and x, y, z, is right
