Death basically confirmed that Adam was in hell. In season 6, Dean asked Death to get Sam's soul and Adam out of Hell. Death was like, "I'll only do one or the other, not both."

I cant even describe this. Supernatural has helped me distract myself from other things in my life. My family fights a lot and i suffer from anxiety and in the most recent fight between my brother and my dad just being able to have this little escape to get away from everything going on really helped. Supernatural has helped me so much and is one of my main sources of happiness. The cast are amazing people who taught me not to be afraid to be myself, and that its okay to be different. We arent a fandom, were a family. I feel so loved and welcomed in this family and it means so so much. I hope as time goes on this show is never forgotten, and that it can continue to help people like it has helped me.

Okay... I went back and looked, and right you are! They didn't specify what spell they used to transfer Lucifer from one cage to the other; if they were transferring all contents or just Lucifer specifically. but I think if Adam and Michael were still in the cage they would also be conscripted for help. Adam as either Lucifer's vessel to be released upon Amara's containment, or rejecting Lucifer and taking their chances with Michael. They are both Archangels. Lucifer even showed Adam and Michael going into the cage as part of his pitch! The Winchesters know how to make better deals than that! Lucifer was in contact with Rowena, so he knew he was going to be sprung. He could have taken Adam as a vessel and gotten out far easier without the song and dance of trying to convince Sam or Castiel to say yes. So from both sides, it's easier with Adam involved, yet... where is he?

It's crazy to think that a show is still able to create such powerful moments after 10 years of being on the air. Even in their eleventh season they have provided a lot of emotional moments. I'm so happy that I discovered this show when I did, and it has definitely gotten me through a lot of rough times. Thanks to all the writers and wonderful cast that continue to make the show as good as it is.

Me: *Laughs hysterically for ever considering that someone might convince me otherwise* It's your opinion but I gotta highly disagree with you on this. It's essentially just a really emotional repeat of a classic rock song without adding anything new or creating something unique. While I feel the original with its rock and roll style creates a very hectic but realistic depiction of life beating the crap out of someone on their journey, but that someone feeling the encouragement by those around them to keep on pushing forward. I feel like with this song was literally just someone saying, "Hey, you know that classic rock song 'Carry on Wayward Son'? What if we did that, but overly dramatic?" Like I said, it's fine if you enjoy it, but I feel like there are better covers out there to prove the case you're making.

I cried bc of the fact they included their mother. That look on Dean's face I can identify with bc I lost my mom too when I was ten. You don't get over that loss; you just learn to live with it.

Yea but Adam was never really a hunter. He was kind of a dick and never really accepted Sam and Dean as family. I would like to see Michael and Lucifer return tho..

Yea it was a ghoul when they first met him, but when the Angels resurrected him for Michael he was 100% Adam and he still acted like a punk.. No offense, I just don't think he can hang side by side with Sam & Dean...

i'm doing my first watch through of supernatural at the moment. saw this scene about two days ago, and i have not been able to stop thinking about it for a single moment since. around season 6 or so i thought about how cool it would be for the boys to be able to hear this song canonically themselves and understand how it describes their journey, and actually having that thought realised in such a beautiful cover is breathtaking. genuinely one of the most memorable parts of the whole show, i can't even explain how many times i've replayed this scene. seeing their reactions hits me right in the gut and makes me want to cry every single time.

None of the seasons "suck" it probably was when the writers were in a slump but it didn't "suck"

ALL the seasons after the 5th one sucked, the story ended on there. Dean = Michael Sam = Lucifer Everything they did before that was to get them on that fucking cemitery. Now is just a bunch of bullshit that makes no sense, with bad comedy to teen girls who still put money into this thing pee on their pajamas everytime they thing about gay sex between brothers and a fucking angel.

First, I need you to stop being so freaking stereotypical, you sound like an idiot saying stuff like that. I am a teen girl but I actually like the plot of the show and I like the folklore in the older episodes it was quite interesting and I'm very intrigued by these tales. And I don't like that angel romance and whatever other crap because I find it utterly revolting. Now that we've got that out of the way, I am obviously going to disagree with you. You can have your opinion on the show but really, the show has demons and folklore. Obviously the writers were going to lean towards stuff like this so first the show was about folklore, then ghosts, then demons, then Angels and now hell and heaven. And what is related with hell and heaven? Lucifer and Michael. Sam and Dean were the main characters and no, one beginning the writers weren't focused on Sam being Michael's vessel and Dean being Lucifers, they were focused on the two brothers finding their father and yellow eyes. Then yellow eyes told Sam about the war and Sam had powers, overtime the writers finally thought, hey, what if we add lucifer and Michael. This is probably because Sam is like Lucifer, he's the one that rebelled, he's abnormal and he has powers that do evil things and his brother Dean is obviously Michaels vessel because Dean's the loyal son, the son who'd do anything for his father. Now their story was quite identical to Michael's and Lucifer's story so, they put two and two together thus creating the rest of the seasons. Also, the comedy is quite funny and I bet you probably can't make as funny jokes as them and even if you can good job, because their STILL getting money for their "bad" jokes -__- @Felipe Pacheco

First time I watched thisam it hit me right in the feels. You can see all of their hurt, pain and emotion on their faces when they hear that song and it mirrors everything they have felt for so long.
