I watched this interview Curry was one of my favorite fighters but not too give Lloyd Honeyghan the credit is flat wrong you got beat Don except the loss.

Even with a demotivated Curry, you've got to give Honeyghan his props for beating his opponent so decisively. Honeyghan pretty much went into Curry's backyard - albeit Atlantic City, New Jersey, not Texas - and ripped the undisputed world welterweight title from him. No flash in the pan either; Honeyghan stayed motivated and hungry and made several defences. Years ago now but always good to hear from Don - best wishes to him and thanks for uploading.

Great to see Don, he was the man at that time. But Lloyd was absolutely tenacious that day and so fearlessly focused that he just busted Curry up. All the credit needs to go to Lloyd and not have them paint it off as an unmotivated performance.

Donald Curry was such an efficient fighter. Calmly going about his fight plan with perfectly placed shots. His focus was second to none so this video just proves even the best boxers can be pushed off their game by actions out of their control.
