Had this done last Friday for the 2nd time. It seals my vocal cords. It lasts about 8 months. I have a vocal cord tremor too. This injection doesn’t fix the tremor unfortunately.

I’ve had my tube in my left ear for more than 24 years. I’ve had many doctors look in my ear and not notice the tube. I’m currently 27 years old and I have an appointment to have it removed in one week. My ENT said they noticed granulation. I’ll try to keep everyone updated. Wish me luck and pray for me

I am part of the 1%. Woke up realizing I was constantly swallowing in my sleep. It was blood. It was a terrifying experience. After the ER staff controlled bleeding my ENT doctor had to put me back under for repair. I’m now home recovering.

I have avoided this surgery with natural methods. 80-90% improvement in my nasal congestion which used to be at least 3/4 of my day. 1. Taking beet root powder every day, opens my nose within 10-15 minutes. 2. Removing seed oils from diet and eating healthier foods(a lot of organic) 3. Removing harmful detergents and other household products 4. Exercise Do your own research! Take control of your health. Good luck!

I regret getting my adenoids removed with my tonsillectomy (age 24) because now I can’t breathe while swallowing or I end up swallowing a bunch of air or sucking water into my lungs. If I knew that would happen I wouldn’t have gotten them removed.

I got my tonsils and adenoids out a few years ago when I was 24 because I kept getting tonsillitis and strep. Idk why, but ever since the surgery I can’t breathe and swallow at the same time and I was able to before! it really sucks because I keep accidentally swallowing air or accidentally sucking water into my lungs. If I knew this was going to happen I wouldn’t have gotten my adenoids taken out too. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know why?

I’m in my second week post op Also had my uvula removed 35yo male Day 1-3 pain is so high 10/10 when attempting to swallow, which makes taking the many medications very difficult. Didn’t even think about eating, just sleep when you can to ease the pain. Waking up with horrible taste in mouth and pain is even worse when waking up Day 4 - admitted to hospital emergency as i was not taking in any fluids. Received an IV drip for dehydration Day 5-7- feeling a little better, pain when swallowing is now around 6-7/10 but at this point I’ve already lost about 6kgs of body weight from not being able to eat/drink properly Day 8 - admitted to hospital once more this time for hyperventilation and loss of balance. Once again received IV drip Day 9-now (15) - pain has largely subsided but an even worse issue has been present; constant saliva production of the wound is spilling into my sinus and causing me to vomit on a daily basis which if you are like me and hate vomitting, it’s worse than the pain.
