I know I'm a bit late to seeing this reaction, but I thought I'd explain a couple of things you mentioned.... First the sax and trumpet are using their own effects pedals. The trumpets wahwah is an effect that is being controlled with an expression pedal. The sax sound is going through a hard plate reverb with a delay. That effect on the sax isn't my favorite with, but it's actually grown on me over time. But, the big one to explain: the piano with the kick drum... It's actually a keyboard being triggered by the kick drum. So the drummer (the amazing Larnell Lewis) literally has to play that kick pattern all the way through the rest of the song because the piano pattern is the root notes for the harmonic structure of the song.

No problem you did not like this one; just something to consider, I did not like this at first but it creeps up on you and gets under your skin and now it is one of my favourites; but as someone else said - in answer to the favourite BM song, it is the one I am listening to now. The lyric here is dark and hopeless. "Martyrdom is your destiny. Surrender yourself." Its sung in Spanish I think because it wouldn't work in English. Spanish is the right language for this topic. But this lyric reaches out to the listener and grabs you by the throat and takes you to a place where we as humans have all been. It is a masterpiece that will become a standard in the future.

Also remember English is Dani's second language.

I am confused, if you are supposedly a music expert, why haven't heard of Steely Dan also this album? They are comprised of the best studio musicians with Becker and Fagan.

You didn't show album but you could have shown video that is just as clean as the album cover. The 2 rifts in middle to me were like battle rifts first the guitar and then the keyboard. But one of my favorite songs and groups for the Music and the song lyrics. for other Steely Dan music good to listen too but you seem sensitive check out "Hey 19". If you like Steely Dan you will should love Dire Straits Money for nothing and "Sultans of Swing(alchemy version). Its amazing to me how much this generation only listens to music in it extreme they listen to noise or vulgar. I still hear do it again in restaurants and department stores.

The “B-52” of the name does not refer to the airplane, it refers to the hairstyle that was named after the plane. It’s a large beehive type hair-do that looks like the plane’s nose!
