also Orkan only has (same as Cossack ) only one set of torp tubes which reload quite fast, but not that fast ( 70 secs ),,, maybe its time for Mighty Overlord Jingles to write a new edition of the Encyclopedia Wow-Shipica and refresh his notes

Actually Jingles, higher-tier Japanese 100mm guns get a flat 30mm of penetration on their HE. German HE gets quarter caliber penetration.

*20mm 😉 They ditched the .50s on American fast battleships early on in their careers and replaced them with 20mm Oerlikon guns when they realized the .50s weren't effective enough (and eventually replaced a lot of the single mount Oerlikons with twins).

@@zackakai5173 How many millimeters is half an inch? What caliber is 20mm? Fifty caliber is half an inch in diameter, or 12.7mm. 20mm is .79 caliber, or point seventy-nine of an inch in diameter. Korbell is saying the Navy ordered 12.7mm (.50 inch) guns be mounted, but the engineer misread, didn't see the decimal, and instead mounted the 127mm (5 inch) gun without a second thought. Like I said earlier, you're not wrong that the Navy started to replace .50s with 20mms, but that's irrelevant to the joke. Please employ some suspension of disbelief and laugh at a joke for once.

That definitely was a thrown game by the Cossack. If it had run away it would have won on points as there wasn't enough time to cap all the caps before the enemy team reached 1000 points.

The scoreboard was switched the whole game. Featured team was gaining points when they lost a ship and lost points when they sank a ship (same for enemy team), They were also gaining twice the number base points because it was giving them points for 2 bases instead of one and the enemy was only getting points for one base.

I've been on the USS Massachusetts!! It's moored in Fall River, Massachusetts, part of Battleship Cove, a floating museum comprised of the Massachusetts, a destroyer, a PT boat, and a submarine.

I get why Jingles doesn’t give the Gneisenau much love gun wise, but it’s honestly been one of my favorite BB’s. It’s fast, it’s fun, and so long as you can laugh at the gun accuracy, it makes hitting with the big 15”s gloriously fun. Citadels with it are even better! 😂😂

7:22 It's extra funny that the Hsienyang went for the torpedo run on the Massy, because - if mi reckoning is right - had that Hsienyang been even a _second_ slower on the torpedo launch, he'd have never gotten them off. Because the Hsienyang only has one quintuple torpedo launcher... which Fail _destroyed_ with his 16-inch HE salvo. (Not that it mattered, of course, but still amusing)

Still a major misplay by the Cossack. The Kagero outspots him... by 100 meters. He should have played Ring Around the Rosie. The Massa and the Kagero need to split up to cap, and the Cossack can take either one in a one on one fight. He should never have been caught like that by the Massa. But fair play to Spectacular, he did a great job.

If you don’t know about torpedos, look at the teams screen and hover your cursor over each ship. This can be done in game rather easily

the Allende does have torpedoes. Honestly they do hit somewhat hard when they connect and you boost up the damage they inflict.

Ah Jingles is living in the past. You don’t need a dedicated commander on premiums anymore since the commander rework in 2021. It can be a Zao commander that on the BB section of commander skills has a secondary build, so ships like Kii or Iwami being premiums can use it.

I just got the Azure Lane Italian BB, cant remember its name. But I speced it for Secondary skills and mods. I also made sure to mount the flags needed to set fires. And Captain skills to increase chances of setting fires.

The Amagi can be a decent secondaries IJN BB too, mostly thanks to her sixteen 140mms. Both Kii and Amagi are decent brawlers which hold their own 1 on 1 vs any other T8 BB - German, American or Spanish )) Main guns, however, require a long and gentle blowjob to coax them into hitting things. Often as not. At any distance.

Kansas is not a great ship, but the guns are pretty decent. I hit reliably with them, and... if you set Kansas up for drag racing it works pretty well overall.

Something was screwed up with the scoreboard. The featured team was 6 points behind (each had captured 1 base) 3:32 They lose a ship and gain 94 points. Enemy team captured another base and the featured team gain the points instead 3:50

He also wiped out the Hseinyang's torpedo tubes with that HE blasts. So, he only had to contend with one spread of torpedoes not 2.

The hilarity of listening to Jingles describing secondaries as equivalent to Gearings...when WG nerfed secondaries for everything but KMS BCs some time ago... DDs aren't afraid of Massachusetts secondaries. They aren't near accurate enough. Now cruisers, on the other hand...

three minutes in and a thought came to mind... and after 6+ years of playing i am now curious as i had never thought of this before. in WoT you can see faster tanks pushing slower tanks.... can you do that in WoW... IE if the Mass got behind the Kansas could if both know what they are doing the Mass get the Kansas above its top speed?
