I always wondered how the scar tissue does constantly heal properly in SW instead of attaching itself to muscles for example (which it has a possibility to do if you are not streaching the scars after some time after wound closing.)

magic revolver with crystals in the place for bullets, each crystal do different spell like red cystals do fire type spells, blue for water type spells, and the revolver use magic from the user to work, maybe the crystals may be made by a Alchemist, and the magic revolver user or someone else add magic spell to the crystal.

I just played for my first time today. Thank you so much for further assuring me I picked the right character for me before I even knew it was an option. I legit guess/hoped Wood elf was a choice. Btw you're a great speaker ❤

Hey Matt. Not sure if you even check these messages anymore, but if you do, was just curious if youll be working on Ironsworn 2.0? From what I understand, its slated for release maybe 2025, and I'm stoked for it. I friggin love Delve. It's so creative, and brings a lot of stuff I was missing from D&D to Ironsworn. I know that was your baby, and was hoping your hand would be involved with the Ironsworn update.. Hope all is well with you.

Necromancy here. Where could the visual index for the dice cards be found? The instruction booklet doesn't have any images that relate to items on the card.

Great descriptions. Great characterisations. Fun players. Only thing I'd say is when you describe what a character says say rhey say it. If you say they would do something it makes it conditional or in the past tense and it's neither

This was pretty good except the clone jedi thing 😅 too weird for. I always imagined growing up the republic and mandalorian federation at war for several years both sides running out of soldiers and having to use cloning technology to replenish there ranks thus starting the clone wars. I feel like the mandalorians could've been the equalizavent of the soviet union, since in the original trilogy the empire was representative of nazis

Matt, I want you to know I've binged the entire Paladins game in my earbuds at work, and I'm in love. You all put on an awesome show, and I'm sad there isn't more. Phenomenal performances and a phenomenal system. I'll be running a mecha hack game after I finish my current curse of strahd d&d game I'm running. Thank you and your team for this incredible game system.

I was listening to several Lancer podcasts today because I wanted to run something Mecha for my friends that I play mostly 5e with. Listening to Lancer combat reminded me of Starship combat in Starfinder, which I've ran. So bloated that a combat can take a whole session. I found Mecha Hack, and I'm so getting this game! Thanks so much for putting in all the work to make something I already love even though I haven't played it yet. Lol.

My good friend actually pointed out her problems with Lancer at the table she ran us through a Mecha Hack session. She said "It wants to be a skirmish game so bad, but it still has to pretend that it's an RPG." And as much as I love the system, she's really not wrong.

Hi i have a quck question sorry i know this video is 2 years old i just found this game and was wondering do i need the mech hack seperate from the mission manual or is it combined in one book. Just trying to see if you know planning on buying the game
@aFistfulofDice
@aFistfulofDice 10 ай бұрын
Hey there! They are separate books. The Mecha Hack contains the core rules, and Mission Manual contains new player options, additional rules, and tons of pre-made missions.

I am learning about DnD and got hooked on The provokers episodes. Have watched them all and up to the middle of Bleakhurst. Just watched Bleakhurt session 8 - a bit late for the online chat I know! Was thinking wouldn't it be neat if they find a box in the middle of the forest marked "A gift from New Brook"? but that storyline is way passed here but it would've given a nice cliffhanger to end the session that was missing.

DONT USE SHARPIES ON THOSE SHEETS! 😂 you'll ruin them. They're for those dry marker type pens you just rub right off at the end of a one shot session!! I would love to have those myself. What a great inclusion. Quite hard to get done for yourself if you wanted them. I don't know where id go to get them for instance and I'd love a few of them.

Great tips and guidance. One thing I would add atop the sense of responsibility shared here is that DMs are not just responsible for facilitating "fun" or escapism. Quality folklore was developed by our ancestors to teach lessons to their descendants. We have a responsibility to facilitate a simulation of a world that incorporates edification despite living in an era afraid to admit that there is objective truth, worthwhile values, and legitimate vices. People don't frequently want to be preached at, but even providing scenarios for encouraging teamwork can be edifying AND fun.

I’ve had this sitting in my “watch later” queue since not long after the Mothership 1e Kickstarter closed. Finally had the time and headspace to block our 3+ hours at once. I was not disappointed, and the anticipation was worth it. Such a great system. And such a great example to showcase it. Congrats on this. I hope to come close to this one day.

The shop those players robbed? It's closed, permanently. The shopkeeper has taken his own life. His wife and their two children are losing their home. A town guard who happens to become known to the characters is sitting down at a tavern for and they're talking to him and he has a drink for the shopkeeper, his friend. Says that when he finds the bastards who destroyed his friend's life and put his sister-oh, she's his sister-and her kids out on the street, they won't have to wait for the executioner, because he's going to kill them s-l-o-w-l-y. He's got a lead later on that's promising to lead him and the other goards to the perpetrators, he's going to meet them later today. Oh by the way, the guard's about four levels higher than the party, and so are the other seven guards he's going to bring with him… The adventurers have maybe six hours to be as far away from town as they can possibly before Johnny law comes after them with a headman's axe. So … what do you do? After the party discusses it, remind them they've got about five hours and fifty-seven minutes now. Wanted for a crime they didn't commit is a common RPG backstory. So is wanted for a crime they did commit.

About to start a game with a modified version of Matt Mercer's gunslinger class. Way we're doing this is treating the bullets as scrolls, essentially. Gun can fire either normal rounds, or use a "caster shell", which functions as a scroll.

I have guns in my game. A lot of people have them. From guards carrying matchlock pistols to entire armies fielding pike and shot. Regular firearms and cannons are common enough. They do 3d8 damage per shot, while cannons do 3d12 damage. Then I also have home-brew guns, something referred to as Furnace Cannons, Melter guns and/or Fire-wheel weapons. Concept is that they use an alchemical powder to harness and expel fire magic as a narrow cone of searing flame, casting heat metal on whatever it touches, as well as dealing 2d6 fire damage. Is that balanced?
