What paint did you use and that was 1 coat what did you put on next?
@hollysgarage3 күн бұрын
It was sherwin Williams super paint I think! But I did end up doing 3 full coats of that even though the coverage was this pretty good. Then I did a couple coats of polyurethane to seal

Love it so much more after it's makeover. Absolutely stunning and personally speaking I would not have given it houseroom before it was transformed!

Nice work, thanks for the video. When using the blower, try to wear glasses or googles in case there are any pieces of grit or metal flying.

Wow , thanks for sharing your project! I have a TV stand almost identical to this (minus the glass doors) so this helps me a ton with knowing how I should navigate stripping and sanding my cherry top that I have to refinish.

Hi, wow so nice. Do you think you could share the paint code fort that Green grey? That will be so nice to have it. Great job! 🤩

This was an outstanding redesign of the very old and very tired dresser. BTW it is about 40-50 years old I remember when that style came out it was pretty hot back in the 70’s 😂 You two always do such a terrific job and figuring out just the right paint color and where to use it, but this time I think you really shined in your efforts and outcome. It is outstanding! I love this piece and who knew what that dingy finish was hiding, and who knew it need your eyes to bring it out. Outstanding job! Oh yes and thanks for using the dowels to fill the old drawer pull holes it helps us learn as we follow along so that is a great hack to know instead of always doing Bondo.

Your work is friggin awesome you’re my favorite furniture flipper. Do you use oil or water based poly? And do you coat your paint with spray on polyurethane as well?
@hollysgarage8 күн бұрын
Thank you so much! I usually use a water based poly on painted surfaces but I’ll use oil based sometimes on wood surfaces
@RvrCityRenno3147 күн бұрын
@@hollysgarage thanks for the feedback! I’m a house flipper with a busted shoulder, so I am seriously considering doing some furniture flips to help supplement my income and satiate my artistic needs. Having a real estate license might help to find buyers as well. Keep up the fantastic work! I will continue to watch and be inspired!

I like it when it’s done well! It just takes a heck of a lot of focus and time to do well and its not worth the effort when it can’t be sold for that much more than a solid colour 😭
