For the part about caring about the concept: hits to my ego don’t really motivate me and actually demotivate me. So for people like me, what makes me care about a concept is a love for knowledge and learning itself. I find satisfaction in the wonder of breaking down anything and understanding it so that alone is enough. Great tips by the way! Just wanted to offer this up. Also because I think sometimes people naturally take things personally and using shame as a motivator over and over can lead to unwanted results in other areas of life :)

I have found if i give myself quick dopamine hits i can actually compound these to get harder things done if I'm stuck doing them, I've done that for years. but you gotta really be aware of it for it to work. It's probably not for everyone but I've found I'm more productive when i play a few video games for example first

Hey, check out this puzzle I made. This is what the puzzle looks like: puzzle. Here is a section of the puzzle: section of a puzzle. And this is how it fits to the puzzle: *fits*. (Also, this is how it doesn't fit into the puzzle: *doesn't fit*.) So if you focus on *this* section of the puzzle, you can see how the pieces fit together (and don't). ...<3... Hey, you probably forgot about that puzzle, or a section of it. That's okay. :-) Here's a new puzzle, with new sections: new puzzle. Do you remember how the sections fit together? Here's also the original puzzle from earlier: old puzzle. Wow, now you remember? Yes. Can you explain how the puzzle works? *explained* Can you explain how the puzzles sections fit into the puzzle? *explained* Can you explain how the puzzles section don't fit into the puzzle? *explained* Can you explain how the section fits by itself? *explained* Wow, I think you're pretty good at puzzles. Good job. :) Maybe you should learn about puzzles^2? No thanks, I don't care about puzzles^2.

hi. i would like to present a different solution. that is to practice. to practice enough so that the unconscious mind can take care of it. because the first example presented in this video, the math problem. i think it wouldve taken the same amount of steps regardless its your first time or hundredth time, but the difference is that the hundredth time, you can do it in a millisecond. because the steps are carried out so quickly inside the head. my practical example comes from solving an exercise of math problems. if im in a flow, i can just see a problem, and take a second to accurately predict the correct answer. its because im confident in it as much as skillful and experienced in it. so i think the unconscious is like an upward curve. more practice = unimaginable efficiency, which sounds so electrifying to me. and on that tangent, i think its one reason to be really passionate about it. so i thought that being passionate might help becoming better. but being already better might too contribute to being passionate. i mean, if youre good at something, like really awesome great at it, you might just sometimes think that you probably exist in this world to do this. so ig its like putting cart before horses, or idk if it works that way. i think the message in this video is to be clearer in intention and therefore passionate in it (i mean, you probably wouldnt be doing something if it never affected you in any way). therefore to summarise, repeat a certain procedure many many times, and youll be good at it, and youll equate your... everything, with it. at least thats my theory. im open to discussion 👐. because i think the pure message of this video couldve gone over my head. so i would be very much grateful if i get any reply here.

This is actually so true. Also don't trust iq tests. The first time I did an iq test my iq came back as 107. Pretty normal and average (I also have adhd and autism lol). But then I watched a video of another person doing another iq test and understood their way of thinking and approaching problems and then redid the test. (There was different problems this time too) My iq, this time, came back as 138. That is absurd lol. So I, personally wouldn't trust iq tests as a way to measure your overall intelligence.

The way I do it is that I create a mental model of reality. I feed it more data as I go through the world, ether it be from talking to people or understanding different subjects every piece of information help you view the world for what it is. The only thing you have to be mindful of is your bias and ego, you need to be able to take in information for what it is and not what you want it to be. Even understanding people’s bias help create a more realistic model. So with the model you now know the boundaries, what is possible, what is not, what you don’t know, and the stuff you don’t know that you don’t know.

in short: train your subconscious with primal emotions and key motivators. key motivators -> (ego, passion, love, obsession for something) primal emotion association: do like this -> you survive (+ve/reward) if you do like that -> you die (-ve/punishment) repeat the process every day. that's how you hack your subconscious.

You're dead wrong on the punishment part. This is what happens when you use introspection to define psychology (or anything "external" that isn't purely mental models). Read "Understanding Motivation and Emotion" by Johnmarshall Reeve if you care. (grammar errors time to time, but solid principles based on actual scientific studies that apply to reality unlike whatever this is)

Thank you so much for the information in this video. The steps make so much sense it's amazing how I haven't seen any other study KZfaqrs make videos on this method of learning. Also, would appreciate if you could give a practical guide on using this method on a real topic. Like how to use it with subjects (like biology) with real examples. Once again greatly appreciate all the good work you've been doing!!
