993 is my favourite 911 of all. Small proportions, fluid design and true to the original ethos of the car. 👍

Can't really argue with that. I have a soft spot also for the 997 Targa 4S but generally speaking the 993 is gorgeous.

Ha. I keep it simple. Integrale to Italian Car events. Porsche to Porsche and German car events. Lotus to British, Supercar events and track days. Bentley when the missus is with me. For an ad-hoc blast... Lotus if wet, integrale if dry.

I'd take a Ferrari 599 in yellow or silver too. I cant see why they are so cheap for what is actually a fast v12 road car. 😧😮

I have probably seen 2 in 10 years. Very rare now. Cool little thing and I believe it is faster than most Elise due to the Turbo - might be wrong.

I dont believe they did a normal one but they did do a 599 SA Aperta which is well over a £million and is basically a 599 GTO Spider!!

Is your porsche still a fast car or does it show its age in terms of speed and acceleration?

Well... it feels very slow at normal speeds and only when theTurbo spools up it seems fast. Indeed sometimes it feels very fast if the revs are right. It is decent round corners though.

Transmission is race setup why first is where its at....trying to recall there a paper tag inside rear hatch above rear lights.. part of numbers there if again trying to recall 100 indicates limited slip...ill have to check parts book...

😁 I've never even opened up the rear hatch! Will have a look when I can but car is away at a garage getting some engine work done.

@@RevMonkey ill see if can find those numbers...one other easy way if it's up on a lift put in gear and spin tires/tyre...if both rotate same direction ...limited slip...very desirable

Oh dear! If you have a complaint like that make sure that you always go to the onbudsman. AF would not knowingly scam you, they are too big and reputation is everything. Still, a reminder for us all to record our conversations! Easy download by App these days.

I don’t expect to have to record every conversation when trying to take out car insurance and I’m sure most other people don’t either. The recorded message says ‘calls may be recorded’ but when I asked them to go through the first call, to find where they confirmed what I was saying, they somehow couldn’t find the recording. Doesn’t sound like a reputable company to me!

It really is. Stunning from every angle. Most of us desire a hatchback when young and these really is the ultimate so always feels special. I think having this and one supercar is the perfect combo.
