Correct me if I am wrong but Richard had planned to step Haatem up in trip to 1m 2f but the horse has been sold recently and it's the owners that want to go back down in trip. Obviously he has to to play along with it being an easy decision but be interesting to see how it pans out.

True, but he does seem to be getting the better owners now.
@trevormeeks4084Ай бұрын
@@nightowl7459 he needs better horses not better owners he's a bit like Paul Nichols all his horses are world-beaters until they arent
@nightowl7459Ай бұрын
@@trevormeeks4084 But that's my point, he's getting better owners who are fetching better horses, Rousallion owners are quite big owners, Wathnan have just purchased Haatem so he's now got connections with them too.
@trevormeeks4084Ай бұрын
Yes I know I was trying to be funny he says he has a lot of good 2 year olds to run later in the season so we shall have to wait and see good luck at ascot
@nightowl7459Ай бұрын
@@trevormeeks4084 Sorry, I actually agree about Nicholls, but as you know in the flat they have a faster turnover of horses than they do on the jumps,but you are correct, we can only wait and see.

Is this the man who said all is well the day before Cheltenham?

He isn't completely sure how they will do. If they are back to being healthy then he is saying how they will do. However, he has no certainties after Cheltenham. I imagine it's very hard to tell.

Not worth backing NH horses , especially with health problems and the soft going which most don't like

So the answer is to back horses which do well on deep ground. W P Mullins didn't do so badly at Cheltenham

Love Nicky's humour ! , but you can see how Shishkin is still the apple of his eye, how much thought he puts into running his brilliant but fragile horse. 🌱

And Nicky and the other old bloke that owns Constitution Hill are displaying all the bottle of two old duffers. They are totally ruining the horse’s legacy to be a great. So much so, hardly anyone is mentioning CH in the lead up to the Festival and yet he should be, bar none, the absolute star act. But sadly he’s not and racing fans are getting very bored with the rubbish trainers tell the public and who pay a lot of money to get into racecourses and also through their betting.

Paddy Power has been 'sponsoring' Willie Mullins for years. Remember Annie Power and Bernie le Dieux? Ruby was seen driving a flash new Jaguar a few weeks later, too.
