I have literally seen influencers first call it out for its funkiness and then retract it from pressure or whatever and say….oh I didn’t understand it at first but it actually nice. Whatevs. I don’t want to work hard to like something, you know? The full bottle is almost $400 with taxes and the smaller one isn’t chump change either. There are a lot of pretty and gorgeous perfumes out there. Even other pink ones😂 ( not just Delina). Can you believe they now have a $520 dollar Extrait of this and influencers already hyping it up saying it “fixes“ whatever was giving the funk in the OG. No thanks and why were they hyping it before about all the compliments with no mention that some people may find it funky. I unsubscribed from so many after that. I don’t need random compliments. I need to love it first. To think I thought something was wrong with my nose when everyone else singing high praise. Sheesh. It was obviously enough people that they decided to make a whole new version just 1 year after launching.

I liked it, it was okay for me, I didn’t love it, and wasn’t interested in purchasing it. But then, I received compliments like crazy about how good I smelled when I tested it and went to meet some people after. The scent rubbed off from my arm (where I sprayed the tester), to the sleeve of my blouse. And I wore the same blouse a few days later to a casual family gathering, and again, received compliments! A male cousin asked me what it was so he could get it for his wife. He almost didn’t believe me when I told him I wasn’t actually wearing perfume that day, it was a perfume I was testing days earlier that accidentally got on my blouse. Such a longevity and sillage beast. It’s making me consider getting a 50ml bottle. I have never gotten so many enthusiastic compliments over a perfume in my life. It’s crazy. I wish I could smell what they were smelling. To me it’s a pleasant sandalwood-pudding creamy-powdery scent with the tiniest pinch of salt from the ambergris.

Don't buy if you are obsessed with attention from people. I hot a sample and it is great. People may not compliment you because they may think you are out of their league. It depends on where you go and the mental state of the people at the time.

Also if you want to try a decant of something that is actually pretty, maybe try a decant of Amouage Love Delight.
