It shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise how would your spouse know if you didn't have any. Even though he or she may give you some out of the goodness of their heart.

I don’t feel like she shouldn’t have to be working 3 jobs with a man and kid at home. But yall made a good point we don’t know the full story. But to her question It shouldn’t be a hassle for your partner to give you money to help with the home.

And most of these men grew up with single moms so they seen their mom doing it all and it’s normal to them.

I grew up that way…watching my mother do it all. I would say it made me want to be extra independent or conduct myself like I’m a superwoman…which I can be if needed but it was more of a pride thing 🥺

If your man loves you he will ask you are you okay ? Do you have gas ? Do you have money for lunch etc.
