I saw a conversion couple years ago smaller motor electric 200 horse hooked up to the standard four-speed transmission and that’s the way I would like it seems a lot better than not having that stick and clutch

3.5 seconds to 60 mph. Amazing how stupid people are in that is so important. Range is everything, not speed that you can't use. One day someone will figure that out. Don't want to be like all the other Teslas sitting at the charging stations sipping coffee waiting on the batteries to charge. I don't have time for that.

Not really classic if they're electric are they? The bodies may be original, but they've been ruined and definitely not classics anymore, and mostly not a Vespa.

Could you show the timing slip. I, and maybe a few other, like to use a bit of calculus to get the velocity and acceleration curves over the 1/4 mile from the slip times (I do it on Cleetus McFarlands drag runs to get the speed at the 60', 1/8th mile etc; I also use it to get the 0-60mph times and max g force on the driver).

That's a very nice and informative show on a topic I can relate to. I have been leasing cars to date but now want to buy my 1st car (not very expensive). In mainland europe, its the same question for me a 2nd hand Zoe or an IC engine car? I think you took an ideal situation in the video for going around in 100 kms range with EV. What could be great if Olivier drove it uphill or on the highway to check its range. Next, if he is driving with 4 friends or all family members for a vacation, will Zoe give the same range? These are also the questions in my mind and would like to hear from anyone. Thanks !! :)

Fantastic. I see your tires are slipping. If these are the rear tires, I suggets you to move some of the WEIGHT of the car on the roof inside! So this weight/mass will be transfered to your rear wheel during acceleration from start and will make your tires stick better.

I'd rather believe MacMaster on the value of EV's ... he has no vested interest in them other than the occasional vid and even then its just to go on about how we don't have a choice on what cars we can buy after/on 2035. That's his real beef. Lack of choice. You have a vested interest, you make ev's out of old bangers. Why wouldn't' you "Bust" the MacMaster. It's bias.
