Dude, I usually heart every comment, now this is not against you personally but under my watch, I just cannot let anyone think for a second that this d-pad is trash because not only is there definitely worst, I simply cannot stand by that statement. Not here to argue with you, you have every right to feel any type of way about the d-pad but I’ll stand 100% by a product, or at least a feature, that is every bit as good as what I experienced. The. Absolute. Best. D-Pad. On. Any. Switch. Controllers. (Plural is not a mistake)

There is not screen mapping on iOS unfortunately. Or if there is, I have never heard of such a solution.

That’s a REALLY TOUGH question. Overall, I’d give the advantage to the M15 though. They each hold advantages over the other but the M15 is slightly better balanced and offers a smidge more in comparison to the G8, all while retaining a better price of entry. Still, I think both deserve a spot as top telescopic controllers options of the entire market and one should absolutely be happy with one or the other.

Hmm that’s a bit of a tough one but I think overall I’d give it to the BSP-D8 Pro for me personally. Like, X2s wins when it comes to just quality but BSP-D8 Pro definitely enters that territory where its features just trumps over the gap in quality, despite definitely having one present.

Does ROG going to release new controller rather than tessen because if I use tessen I can't use my phone cooler 😢 btw my phone is ROG phone 8 and I bought the new ROG aero active cooler x so what gives in the new controller 😅

I personally think they should. I’d love to see ASUS tackle something like the Kishi Ultra/GameSir G8 instead. But if they stay in the small form factor lane, they need to revisit some things for their controller and the gimmick of the Tessen would be best left alone if they can’t improve on some of the basic features as far as I am concerned.

I got mine 3 weeks ago and i absolutely love it. I was contemplating this or the nitro deck and luckily i settled on this. I might get a nitro deck in the future but for now i am happy with my mobapad

I have both and while I love my nitro deck for certain games, the mobapads are leagues better if not the ultimate joycon alternative. I would say if you really want one maybe try the nitro deck plus which have the wii u style stick layout but that is super useful for certain games where the camera is controlled by the right stick. Also it has better improvements in quality compared to the original nitro deck

The Nitro Deck I tested but at my relative, I personally do not own one hence why I havent reviewed it. So how can I put this in the nicest way possible. The Nitro Deck’s number one advantage is its marketing push. It’s not a bad controller, but it is an overhyped one. Still, I don’t think I’d be disappointed if I had bought one but knowing that just as good exists for 1/4 of the price, there is no point and when looking at COIORVIS or Mobapad, they are both widely superior. You picked the better option as far as I am concerned.

@@TheInfiniteNine gotta agree with you on the mobapads. I saw some comparison videos on the new and old model of nitro deck and i think I'd be getting the new one like you recommended. But for now, I'm gonna stick to the mobapads first 😂

@@ThormasOdinson I do agree that it has an impactful and neat aesthetic. I thought of potential dipping my hands into the Nitro Deck Plus, to me it feels like that one should’ve been the first release if being honest but I think it might be a great go to. I just hate how they charge an arm and a leg for shipping to Canada, more than half of the cost of the device itself.

I have an iPad Mini 6G and could not decide on the Razer Kishi Ultra or Gamesir G8+ so I just ordered both then will decide and send one of them back when they arrive. Which one do you think I will keep? I retro game and an advantage of the G8+ for me is tate mode (vertical). The advantage of Razer is the USB-C passthrough so I would only need to charge the just the iPad versus iPad+controller. I prefer look of the Razer (black versus charcoal) and the Series X style thumbsticks but the hot swappable hall effect thumbsticks of the m8+ are likely to be better.

I think the G8+ will win it. For me the Kishi Ultra is second in line but still had cons versus the G8. The G8+ pretty much fixed everything AND added on top. Still the Kishi Ultra retains a few advantages over it, but the G8+ greatly pushes the envelope forward and one thing they both had over the Ultra is ergonomic and overall feel. At least for me but that can indeed be subjective.

Most definitely. Nothing wrong with the X2s though as it’s pretty standard, it’s really the G8+ that is performing beyond the norm.

Watched while working out, and I too have had many say get this. What we truly need is!!! - A controller like this but it works for EVERYTHING. - Different modes for multiple devices. - Has the features like Amiibo (not that I use it) for Switch. - Swappable buttons/joysticks. - An adapter for Phones/Tablets so if you want to use these with those they can attach to whatever device you want. - Oh it has to work with PS3-5, Xbox, PC We're getting closer to the ultimate controller every day.

Ohh the dream! But quite frankly, Mobapad need to start expanding as far as I am concerned. Maybe it’s a one off but if their skills is as consistent, they are on a whole other level!

You open it all the way and apply a slight pressure from the inside with the force exerting to the back while trying to extend it a bit more. It’ll snap off super easily, it barely requires any force!

I’m not home to double check and won’t be for about 2 weeks but I’m 95% sure that the X1 Mini does not support active type pens so only capacitive touch ones that are generic and simulate a finger touch. The X1s do support an active type pen that has up to 4096 pressure points and I did test both. Really good for artists with the right pen!

Magenetic hall effect sticks are a must on these expensive controllers.. adding a potentiometer to coverup drift instead of fixing it is just dumb tbh..

500 bucks is far more than needed. I’d say pick one of the three: Dualsense Edge Apex 4 Vader 4 Pro My review on the Vader 4 Pro will be coming shortly hopefully

@@loitersquadX latency can be matched on both but the Apex 4 will do it over 2.4ghz, which is impressive on its own. Apex4 will win in terms of features and I’d say quality but the Apex4 is currently having defects being addressed by a lot of controller heads like me. I haven’t had issues but it might be a gamble for the time being. Oh and also, the G7se has native support on Xbox, the Apex 4 doesn’t.

That includes the switch oled, rog ally, retroid pocket 3+, miyoo mini & +, abxylute and some others, still looking for more handhelds and mobile controllers like the this one. Those will be displayed alongside the ps5, white psp, psp go & vita.

I would say so yes but it is wired whereas the Nova Lite remains excellent, less expensive and also wireless. Two great picks, go for your ideal use case in my opinion.

Yup, Samsung really has the best Android OS in my opinion, it used to suck but they’ve come a long way and that side-by-side is one example of how far that it can be pushed!

Seems like alot of people's issues are all the bugs that come with software or the controller stick drift. Also quality bumpers or controller just breaking down. Sad considering the price you pay for these things. I bought a victrix bfg and returned it the same day. The software would just not recognize the controller. Looked into the scuf envision the xbox elite, and so many reviews they are garbage.

Thanks for the early look. I was torn on which controller to get between tne g8 and M05, this looks to be a perfect compromise between them. Plus, i got it for under $30 CAD in the AliExpress coin shop

Ahhh the infamous GameForce Ace. I often find myself thinking about devices I haven’t laid hands on in some time. They mentioned it recently in the RH podcast, seems like I won’t find much else than what I originally did. I guess if using PAL roms, it would mitigate some of the issues.

On my G8 review, I was able to use it with a case but it was a slim official Apple one. Right now, I have an ultra slim and it definitely works but yeah, based off of which case, results may vary.

Currently on a Galaxy Fold phone with a Nacon MGX Pro controller and looking to upgrade to something new. You have me stuck betweem the Kenshi and The Galleo. I am currently checking out your personal reviews for these 2 controllers on your page. Is there anything out there on a high price point yet? $200+ market
