Thanks for the video. Been having problems with cluth B getting stuck. Went through a can and a half or break clean and still had black stuff coming out. Hopefully this fixes it.

This is one of the most stupid car door trims I have ever had the displeasure of having to remove. Whoever designed this needs to be taken outside and buried in a pile of cow manure.. shit for brains. The people I work with never hear me swear. Becasue I generally do not. When they heard me calling the designer of this door a ‘fucking moron.’ They came over to see why I was swearing. Then they saw what I was talking about. They agreed. It took over 4 hours to do a 20 minute job. Replace the door lock.

You don't seal it. Not much dust can enter through that small hole. The clutch itself creates a lot of dust inside.

Do I turn it clockwise or counter clockwise? Also would turning the engine the wrong way put it out of timing?

It doesn't matter which direction. The engine is uncoupled from the transmission at this point, so you are not turning the engine at all.

@@SevSevy258 I meant while the transmission is still attached with bolts. I think I may have put my engine out of time by turning it counterclockwise to tighten up the bolts. Now the car won't start, it cranks and cranks but does not start.

Your video on that is so much better than all the others but you’re working hard not smart but you should’ve done is gone to a scrapyard and bought three of those issues and stead of having to re-solder because when you restart your wrist the chance of frying the PCB board

The first thing is that you can't swapping engine ecu like socks. Just fitting another one you will not be allowed to start the engine. In addition, even used parts (and finding them) cost money. And when changing, you risk getting an unknown problem. Therefore, checking capacitors and resoldering cold solder joints is a good, easy and cheap solution if the problem is there. Of course, a person has to evaluate his capabilities, if you are a botanist and you don't even know which end to hold the soldering iron, then don't put your hands in computers, because this will definitely bring troubles.

Dumbest idea i have ever seen lets spray wd-40 over a cltuch all that will do is cause the clutch to slip and leave a oilly film for more dust to collect too brake cleaner would have been a 200% better choice

You only need to drill the shown hole. The other clutch doesn't get affected usually.

Im getting the error code but when i put an allen in the actuator gear and turn it counter clock wise it does not seem to be sticking. Im getting long pauses between shifts. 104000 mi.

looks like i'm going to be doing this as i swapped the coils etc, same problem, reversed the coils and still 1 and 4 not sparking.

@@idknotsure i've not got round to doing it yet, too many projects but i think i'm going to take it in to an ECU specialist as i don't want to butcher the unit up. i did speak to a guy on Ebay that can clone one if you get a second hand unit. just using a second hand one won't work as it needs to be programmed or your keys etc won't work. guessing you have the same problem. only running on two cylinders.

Yes, no problems. What happened is that some drivers don't care about road markings and continued straight from a lane dedicated for a left turn. Got immediate justice served. Happened in Burgas, Bulgaria.

Ughhh I spryaed enitere large box w-40 and to can of brake cleaner it was good but same code come back same code whentrying forscan test adaptive clutch learning it is clutch travel -err again with P07A3 and -57 . but no mention actuator low mile or any code about TCM any one can help, Ford lost court case against NHTS they have to fix but they go around dirty way, you can go court small claim and this time no email responds from ford horrible ford

You really need to spray it onto the forks that press the clutch. Unless they travel freely, you will keep getting the same problem.

No. The area affected is dry. Nothing to do with the transmission oil.

I tried this. I have 250k miles on it. I had a P090C (clutch actuator B) I replaced both clutch actuators and TCM. I tried doing the cleaning without drilling holes and it didn't last very long. I figured that since its paid off and has such high miles then why not. I drilled a 1/2 inch hole next to both A and B actuators and one on the lowest part of the transmission. For the the top A actuator i used a shop vac close to tge hole to avoid getting any metal flakes in the housing. I tapped the holes and cut some bolts short with a reciprocating saw so that i can plug the holes after clearing. I bought this adjustable air wand from Amazon. Industrial Air Blow Gun, with Brass Adjustable Air Nozzle and 3 Air Flow Extension, and 6 Sealing Rings, Pneumatic Tools Air Compressor Accessories Dust Clean Tool Air Blower Gun Air Nozzle Blow Gun a.co/d/32WxxNF I sprayed a bunch of air all over inside the holes and got lots of dust. Wear a mask. Then i used about 3 small cans of carburetor cleaner in all the holes. I hit it with air to dry out cleaner. I sprayed a small amount of triflow lubricant in the direction of the clutch forks and sprayed a little more air to spread the lubricant. I put the bolts tgat i fabricated in the new holes and put everything back together. Lastly, I used tge KZfaq video titled Transmission Reset for 2014 Ford Focus. Its been a week and my car drives nice and smooth with no codes. I'll repeat this process with every oil change or check engine light until the transmission fails. At that point I'll probably get rid of it or buy new clutch and forks. I live in Florida so the car has zero rust and other than the quirky transmission is in beautiful shape. I'll keep you updated. This is an excellent video, economic solution for somebody who doesn't have much money, it's not a permanent fix but at least it will work for a while the cluch pac are already beat so what you have to lose.

I replaced both actuators’ didn’t work’ cleaned the ports out with brake cleaner reassemble didn’t work, now I’ve drilled the holes cleaned it out plugged it up, didn’t work’ at a loss ‘ next steps ? What y’all think?

I tried this, but it didn’t work. I have a 2011 fiesta with no reverse or even gears. I’m getting code p07a4 “transmission friction element b stuck off”. My gear didn’t seem locked up. This started with a bad ground for the tcm. After cleaning ground the tcm error was gone, but the p07a4 remained and still missing gears. It will sometimes try to reverse. When the fork gear is all the way out I feel a quarter turn of play. that is the only odd thing with B. anyone have an idea or seen this before?

This will not fix your transmission if you don't have reverse. Fiestas are known for having negative (ground) issues. Check all battery connections to the ground.
