I just do t appreciate the show why is it okay for my religion to get shit on but you can’t dare speak lgbtq or Jewish community. And it’s not the disscusion of it it’s just the blatant disrespect. You care nothing of what we actually stand on and disrespect our beliefs. Honestly shame on this show. It’s unacceptable there are no shows doing this to LGBTQ we should have the same respect

Why would it take 7 years in 1954 to complete a stop-motion Godzilla movie??? Merian Cooper's original "King Kong" from 1933 and the 1947 movie "Mighty Joe Young, which took stop-motion to an oscar-worthy level, didn't take that long! I think that all Japanese Godzilla movies would've been technically much better if they hadn't used guys in rubber suits but stop-motion. If you haven’t seen "Mighty Joe Young" you should! The plot isn't very interesting, but the special effects which were created by Willis O'Brian and a young Ray Harrihausen, are brilliant! Even today it look great. Honda's first Godzilla movie was made seven years after "Mighty Joe Young". The technical possibilities were there! Honda's rubber-suited Godzilla looks ridiculously clumsy and the big monster seems to move in slo-mo mode. It also doesn't have a great range of movements. Basically it just moves it's legs painfully slow, and it sometimes moves it’s tail and it’s jaws. That's it. The tiny arms don't have a function at all. The dinosaurs in the original "King Kong" movie are far more versatile! Maybe it’s just me - I like good monster movies, but the lack of technical sophistication has stopped me from enjoying most Japanese Godzilla movies because ridiculous Godzillas take me out of these movies. And it doesn't help that the plots of most Godzilla movies are ridiculous, too. That said, the first Godzilla movie is a bit different. It’s a dark story about an unstoppable destructive monster which has been created and unleashed by human follies. And it can only be killed by using a futuristic weapon which could be used for mass destruction on the highest level. It’s like destroying the devil by unleashing Lucifer. Since Honda took these deeply unsettling conflicts and the suffering of Godzilla's victims seriously, the movie is still worth watching. Despite it's technical shortcomings I can appreciate the first Godzilla movie. However, the first Godzilla movie with a Big G which doesn’t look completely ridiculous, is Gareth Edward's 2014 movie. Many die-hard Godzilla fans have complained that the look of this American Godzilla is too different from it’s Japanese rubber-suited incarnations, which they have enjoyed since they were kids. That may be true, but I think it's the first Godzilla which doesn’t look ridiculously corny. And the human elements in Edward's movie aren't half bad. It’s true, though, that Godzilla doesn't get a lot of screen time, and is mostly shown when it’s so dark and rainy that the visibility is reduced. I wonder why 😉 But I didn't become a fan of Legendary's Godzilla, because the plots became sillier and sillier, and IMO it was a mistake to turn Godzilla into a good guy. But then came a Japanese movie with the strange title "Godzilla Minus One" - and for the very first time I really enjoyed a Godzilla movie! The CGI-Godzilla itself isn't quite as good as it's American version, but everything else is vastly superior! I didn’t mind at all that the grown-up Godzilla still looked a little bit like a guy in a rubber suit. It's even possible that Japanese audiences want it that way, because Godzilla has become a Japanese cultural treasure 😉 All other cgi effects looked great. But the main attraction of that movie is the thoughtful and thoroughly interesting plot, which isn't formulaic and predictable at all. It kept me on edge until the very end, and for the first time I cared for the human characters. This movie is exhibit A that monster movies don't need to be dumb popcorn-munching fun - and they don't need budgets which are larger than the monsters which are expensively created.

Omfg thx for not spoiling this movie much actually. As a diagnosed autist, I was crying before the end of Max's letter. I'm not nearly anyway near him on the scale, but I felt every bit of his pain during the entire letter. I grew up in classes that that mostly contained spectrum people, and my god, the memories and feelings I got from that letter.. jesus.

I didn't like the gross immature humor or the musical parts. But this was a pretty cute movie when Leo was helping the kids. Would've preferred to see him help all the kids and skip the songs to save time and have more stakes and drama but not in a stupid way like the bus and alligator scene.

In America, we don’t use the word “Bollocks.” That’s a swear word unique to UK as far as I know. For some reason we think using other countries swear words doesn’t count, either that or we use them without knowing what they mean. So chances are the person who wrote in that bollocks line had no idea what it means.
