Useless video when you're not repairing the car, diagnosis is never a issue with p0205 with a Lincoln ite either the coil,spark or injector and the last part of the lincoln code tells you which cylinder. So 020 is the code with 5 telling you everything. Your video was a waste coming from a real lincoln/ford mechanic. Your labor and diagnostic prices are probably insane as well for s simple fix lol. 23 likes in 3 years proves my point when we all know these are everyday problems where people are looking to DIY instructions and you give them this BS. Great job sir

Hey dude one question hoping u can help. I tried to use 2.2 ohm resistor for your seatbelt trick and it didnt work. Was your resistor fat where it fit snug into the pretensioner plug? Maybe i need fatter one it was a very skinny wire wasnt snug fit in plug

Hello.!! So, higher amperage means that the injector is bad ??? What are the normal parameter readings for those injectors. I do have a 99 expedition 5.4 with a misfire problem, wich is not continuos, just BUP BUP suddenly in ralenti and when I try to take off fast. Im almost sure that the ignition coils (8) are in good condition.

Great video. i like hearing your thought process. My 2013 5.7l tundra was doing the same thing a few months ago. Cleaned the TB twice, MAF, and was problem free up until it died today braking to a stop about 1 minute after starting, then was good for an hour drive. Will try to keep an obd plugged in, but hard to read while driving lol. Sometimes you just have to wait until it gets worse/more often
@fsteddie989 ай бұрын
thanks for the feedback. 1st did it set any codes? 2nd did it start right up after it stalled coming to a stop or did it take a minute to get it started?

@@fsteddie98no codes. Starts right back up. Using the scanner today, MAF is reading >10 g/s so I'm going to give it another clean and see.

Question a bit confused. I've seen on vw forums the way you check fuel pressure on these is at the Fuel Filter regulator under the car. They even had a Bentley repair pic page with the tutorial. Apparently the fuel rail is just used to bleed the system only not to check pressure. I do know some 2.5 beetles have the fuel filter in the tank so how would you check it then? My sisters car is the same year with the 2.5 and has the same lean code and it has the dang filter in the tank the hardest and most $$$ one to work on. I'm going to smoke test it and want to pressure test the fuel pump aswell. I'm thinking if the filter is in the tank then the rail is the only other place to tap into the system so Bentleys repair manual doesn't account for these models. Would have been cool to see the repair if customer approved it. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Surprisingly,No not really. It did have a winding noise coming from transmission oil pan mainly @ idle. It kinda sounded like the transmission pump was starving for fluid due to transmission filter clogged up with metal shavings
