Does this specific bonsai plant take a specific soil or will a basic bonsai soil mix be ok??

How do you make a thick trunk out of it?

Love the collection. Those pots don’t blow over? I’m in Houston,Tx and was hoping to find a mix that would protect from root rot in the rainy times but not dry out so fast , that I’m watering twice a. Day or even everyday. I think this mix may work. Again great info.

I have grown to really love the way a jade looks after defoliation. It really shows off the know-how a person has when it comes to training and shaping their tree.

I'd love to see an update on this tree, I'm very curious to see what has happened with it since the defoliation.
