Hi, which location is this video from? And when was this taken?
@FamilyRoadTripGuru Жыл бұрын
Hi! I specifically omitted location here: people are behaving disrespectful to the flowers: stomping all over them, laying down to take pictures, even spreading picnic blankets and having picnics on top of them!! It were only a dozen cars there, if I make this gem public, hundreds of people will just destroy this beauty. It saddens me I have to do it but I feel I have to do something... State authorities already closed one of the best superbloom hiking trails near Lake Elsinore so no one can see those flowers. This is my way of doing kind of the same thing until I see people behavior change

I like taking the Starlight but I also am always wondering why such a rich country/state has such a old train that desperately needs updating. Also I found l was a lot happier in business class and definitely feel it’s worth the little extra money but it seems a bit deceptive when they say they treat you to 2 non alcoholic beverages but what really happened was someone plunked a big plastic wrapped pack of very bad tasting off brand bottled water and you had to guess that it was your “2 free beverages “. How can some countries have such beautiful updated train service but this one is old and beat up etc. A program I watched said that though most monopolies owned by robber barons or like entities are no longer around, it said that the train system in the US is still in their power and hasn’t gone away. Shame on them! They should put in the money to update! Well anyway I love and dislike this train trip both. I hope someday it gets updated.

Oh, you nailed it! I traveled by train in Switzerland, took a Eurostar to France and Belgium and I cannot believe how bad U.S. trains are in comparison! I keep asking WHY too... I wish I knew the answer or had a solution. That's just sad...
