Along with the constantly shifting terrain of shelves, racks, freezer spaces, etc. there are entities seemingly corrupted versions of your favorite brand mascots. From your standard cereal mascot of Tony the Tiger to beverages like the Koolaid Man, etc. but they all seem to answer to some higher up entity/entities… one of these being known to the by the lower level entities as “the builder” the one who made the store his full name Homer D Poe and he along with his fellow major mascot friend’s want you to stay in the store to be forever consumed by the products and forever to be a consumer. Use weapons and armor found or crafted from the seemingly infinite materials to defeat him and his gang to leave the store. Homer D Poe boss fight: You must not become like the many others before you don’t get entranced by their persuasion attempts think of your pockets wait… that’s just what they want you do “MORE SAVING MORE DOING!” Homer is after you! Your goal now is to escape his reach so you can live to fight another day. run through the shifting world as walls turn to shelves and doors into walls and the floor you thought was secure falls out from underneath you. Your perception of reality has shattered you can’t know what’s real and what’s not. As you approach a dead end you pray the wall shifts away or something but no you… walk through the wall? Use this to your advantage maybe you can trick him through these false walls or.. now fridges wait no now their cabinets what in the world. Phew you’re safe for now but what’s that sound? The other entities are on their way he must have alerted them of your presence. Here’s an idea use their characteristics against him. The world is shifting into… a kitchen? Now’s your chance find or make some sort of food that one of these mascots simply would die for and get ready to throw it at him. You got what you wanna use? Now when he approa- NOW! That will hold him off for a while but now he’s just POed. The world is shifting again get ready… now that he’s distracted use the gear you’ve found or made during your adventure and get him. He seems to be getting tired but careful this could be a trick. Oh I knew it LOOK OUT INCOMING FURNITURE! Wait what the heck is he grabbing? A clock? It's security systems will trigger, allowing it to attack the party with a chainsaw, a nailgun and even drive a forklift, and once he reaches a certain phase, he will merge with other worker robots to turn into a giant Home Depot mech, all while this absolute metal forger of a beat plays in the background.

Be careful, just because the boss is melee oriented, does not mean that you are safe at range. The arena traps are easily avoidable, but there is a reason for this as this is a distraction for possible range attacks that can and will inflict status effects of various types. The boss actually gets more interesting in harder new game + runs. Watch for swallows for a secret wasp based item drop.
