Whenever I see a video featuring Bud, I am always struck by his unassuming demeanor. He lived a life that few of us can imagine much less endure, and he took it all in stride. These videos are priceless history from the type of man who built nations. Well done Rob.

Great stuff. I had an old neighbor named Shelby he would be over 100 now that took a model T engine transmission and the frame and turned it into a power plant for running a chopper mixer for making Hog food. It was a wreck when he got it. Farmers can make almost anything out of what others think of as junk. It started just as easy.

Well hey Robert, you're right about the video suggestions from KZfaq. I haven't gotten any notifications for your channel for a while now. I thought you had taken a break for a while. KZfaq is woke in the U.S. now so anything could be considered hate speech and banned from broadcast. Democrats can ruin anything they even think about.😮😮😮

I'm glad to see a redo of this video on your new channel! So Bud says he rebuilt it in the 50s...is this the only time it was ever rebuilt?
@dryrockstudios32316 күн бұрын
He did not rebuild it, but rather built it from the best of the parts that he had collected, in 1950. At that time it was built as his hunting pick up, with 15 inch wheels etc. In the early 70's he decided he wanted to change it to represent a more authentic 1925 Ford so we changed it up with correct wheels, new, authentic upholstery and top, and painted it black.

"Is it written in stone?" "Yes." "Then it must be accurate." "No. It isn't." Just found your channel and subbed. I'm from the city, and whenever i see a house slated for demolition, especially if it looks like the one i grew up in, built of bricks, one family, raised ranch, i wonder how many Christmases did the family have there? How many children grew up there? And when it's gone, i still see it, even when i'm not there.

In many ways this Canada is gone, first it became unaffordable, then unattainable, and then unknown to the majority. After all that happened it was easier to regulate into obscurity, however there are still remnants of it out there hanging on.

I love this guy and what he does but about 2 minutes 20 seconds he says something that has been transposed on to our system of justice. ... and that fantasy has retarded our communities and depleted his worth because we can't appreciate that stuff now because everything has been taxed over and based on a principle that is not conducive to our growing times. if 10 people like Bob sit on a city council then nothing will ever get changed and even though it sounds ridiculous it's the truth.

I think I understand what you are saying and applying that thought in today's society you are right. But my Dad lived, and believed, in simpler times, he never would have considered building a system that would make the consumer dependent for more.
