In Britain it's use came to an early end, but in Yugoslavia it still lives on. These were produced under license in Yugoslavia, as IMT 533 and 539. great machines, still are the backbone of many farms in the country, as we have quite small family farms.

So amazing to actually hear the Ulsterman TALK. The first tractor I ever drove in America was a Ferguson, and have had a reverence for Harry Ferguson and his contributions to agriculture ever since.

Harry Ferguson originally fell out with David Brown (Black Tractor) and later Ford (Ford Ferguson tractor) He apparently showed his revolutionary system to International Harvester and they showed no interested!

International Harvester invented the "Farmall" system of implements directly connected to their specialized tractors in the 1920s. It was very primitive compared to the later Ferguson system. The Ferguson system is still used on tractors, regardless of brand, to this day. Great historical footage. I was unaware of the training school that Ferguson established.
