There was nothing wrong there, both players went for ball, and got up and got on with the game, how football used to be The worst thing you could do back then is pull out of a tackle, it meant you were more likely as a player to get injured Nothing wrong with what happened there, and it was like football used to be Its messed up that people who watch football today think that was bad. It was nothing, football was competitive back then Todays footballers are champagne charlies

The one on Michael Owen by Leicester captain Matt Elliot was almost as brutal. that one was completely off the ball too. Elliot just busted Owen in the side of the head with his elbow as he jogged past. Totally premeditated, but didn't even get a booking. Could have killed Owen. So unnecessary and nasty. Nothing wrong with being hard but you have to be fair. 50-50 tackles done hard but fair are no problem, but this kind of thing is just sh*thousery.

The other player in the picture is Nicky Summerbee playing for Sunderland. Remember him getting wiped out by Thatcher. Can’t remember who he did first but he should have a criminal record
@tactictoe5 күн бұрын
Ramos went toe to toe with the Diego Costa's of the world, Thatcher only injured players smaller than him, there's a very big difference. Easy to snap a winger or playmaker like Mendes. Thatcher is a c*nt
