19:20 The art on this card is cool, but the game effect design is actually a bad idea in my opinion - this is a surefire way to grind the game down slower by saying NO to things happening. We don't want that, or at least, in my experience, it's better to avoid this type of negating effect. We want to be able to play our cards, not "NO" them out of playability. Interaction is better than non-interaction, it is more interesting. That's my 2 cents worth as a MTG player since 1997 (and now quit because of how ridiculous magic has become), I hope someone from the Sorcery team listens to it. Cheers.

I am confused about Mana. I thought you get Mana in the beginning of a Turn. So your first Area should not provide Mana for the Turn it was played in correct? According to the Start Phase in the Rule Book you get your Mana for the Turn before you draw your card. So a Land played after that should not provide mana. How can Foot Soldier be summoned then in the first round?
@SorceryTCG23 сағат бұрын
Great question! Mana is provided during the start phase AND when a site enters play!

Thank you for the video, it's really amazing content. May I ask a beginner question? If the avatar can cast multiple spells when it's already tapped, what is the cash value of minions having the spell casting ability? Why not just have the avatar cast all spells that you need? Thank you!

So glad to see the Avatar of Air to FINALLY clinch a finals victory. So many times players get 2nd place, it was only a matter of time. Excellent plays by both players. I've seen Christian play on TTS and he is no slouch at all. His deck will absolutely wreck you if you aren't fast.

The event sounds absolutely amazing, I think it will be such a great time! All three organizers did such an epic job of creating events before, so I can’t wait to see what they can create with their combined efforts! Hopefully, we will be getting some more information for SPIEL, Essen, so people can start getting excited for that as well.

SorcCon Seattle was absolutely incredible. I have so many amazing memories and enjoyed the engagement I had with the community. I still remember Alex coming around asking folks if they had some highland falconers and I ran up to my room to grab him some extras for his deck. David and Alex with both amazing guys and so helpful with any questions I had. I had a few buddies who went to March of the Mortals and said how much fun the event was. As well as the coverage for MoM as a viewer from home was 10/10. All these guys together is going to make Vegas a weekend you’re not going to want to miss.

Hi Team, I really like the Sorcery game, and I have a promotional initiative to propose: FREE innkeeper starter kits for new LGS owners who want to teach the game without spending too much. You talk with a store owner briefly and let them fill out an application to receive one set of Beta Starter decks and 1 playmat. I also recommend creating more Learn to Play youtube videos, a Learn to Play app, and an even clearer version of the rules. Sorcery should be easier to learn than Magic the Gathering. This is your challenge. Can you bring this great game to more people? This is the crucial moment in developing the worldwide Sorcery community. You might primarily see the diehard fans, but what I see are mostly LGS owners and other gamers who have never heard of the game, and would LOVE it if they tried it. Much respect for all the support that you have provided artists and players so far, and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in the future.

1 set a year is too slow. The meta gets too stale and the player base gets bored. Need to go to a 2-3 set a year schedule imo.

@Sypholux8 күн бұрын
It would depend on how much life you have outside of Sorcery. 1 set of year is intentional to keep quality up and not overwhelm.
@magusofthebargain8 күн бұрын
I respectfully disagree that 1 set a year is too slow. If they want to release more products, it would be great to release a few more precons, in a "Learn to Play" set for new players. These would not be aimed at collectors per se, but rather at LGS owners and new players who want to have a game that they can play out of the box. How about a randomized pack of 2 starter decks? A store can buy a case of 6 packs of 2 decks that can be played against each other: Earth vs Air, Earth vs Fire, Earth vs Water, Air vs Fire, Air vs Water, and Fire vs Water. A whole case would yield 3 sets of 4. Think Jumpstart, but for Sorcery: Contested Realm.
