I don't mind the handler at all. The only thing I personally find off-putting are her eyes during her cooking-animation. It's mostly an uncanny-valley effect for me, but it's the only issue I have with her.

Realistically, a longer barrel would in fact reduce recoil as well as projectile stability. The sheer weight of the barrel will keep it level despite the recoil and allow the projectiles to travel for longer inside the barrel, generating more spin and thus more stable once they leave the barrel. This, of course, is assuming bowguns are rifled and actually shoot bullets instead of whatever the hell the berries in MH are.

Presumably Agronak gro-Malog has never drank someone's blood - he's never exhibited any obvious vampire traits beyond being "The Gray Prince" (his skin tone) and everything else could simply be attributed to just being an Orc. So here he is, saying he wants to be killed because he can't live with the fact that he's "evil" based solely on his being part vampire. Meanwhile, he's wantonly murdered untold numbers of people in the arena - some of which are confirmed to be prisoners who are fighting for their freedom (meaning the choice to fight to the death wasn't entirely of their choosing - it was either that or serve out their sentences, which could very well be and likely were the death penalty). But that's not what makes someone "evil", apparently. What makes them "evil" is being part vampire, despite never killing anyone for their blood in order to feed. Which, incidentally, is probably a better argument for killing someone than doing so for the entertainment of others.

I feel like this is the direction VR games should try to push towards. "Games in VR" and thats it. No hands or POV gimmicks to try and sell it as a "VR Experience" just a great experience in VR. I played WipeOut in VR on PS4 and it was genuinely my favorite VR experience (aside from Beat Sabers) because it was just a fast pace game and everywhere I looked was more game. I could look into turns and around loops as I sped by and it kinda felt like how they depict VR in movies with the person sitting in the middle of all the game stuff while everything is happening around them and didn't feel like some tech demo they were pushing on me. Take any game and just plop it into VR and Im there. No weird controls or gimmicks needed.

My biggest problems with world and iceborne are the end game siege fights. Magdoros is a drag, yes, but is possible alone, just as possible as xeno jiva and shara, but they are much harder and personal, yet possible and fair. Now, safi, aletreon and KT are my problem. Investigation and, before it was a group only fight but still is a bore to do alone, hard to be done alone because of time and hit kill moves. Yeah, they are end game, but try not having someone to help you with safi and he starts to focus on you with that outrageous damage. I don't have a problem with me boe fatalis. Best ever gear and true end game, and a single event mission. But having to do such boring tasks with safi to have a meta gear to kill fatalis is just dumb. For all that ill not farm safi, nor alatreon, although i wanted the gear and "finish the game", I'm happy in the guiding lands and killing basic monsters

Actually, Silkbind Vault counts towards the damage multiplier while airborne. It also launches at the perfect angle and velocity to let that bitch rip with a normal aerial X attack, landing a billion hits on the larger monsters. Easily procs statuses or inflicting a lot of elemental damage very quickly.

I first played this game as a rental as well, but I couldn’t beat it. I couldn’t figure out the robot controls, either. 😅 When I was an adult, I bought what I thought was the game, but actually turned out to be its sequel, Goemon’s Great Adventure. Imagine my confusion when the game suddenly became a side scroller with a completely different plot. I thought for a while The Mystical Ninja was some kind of fever dream I experienced after playing Ocarina of Time for so long. 😂 I eventually got both games and beat them. The Mystical Ninja is one of my favorite N64 games, and the soundtrack is one of my absolute favorites of all time.

8:13:54 Maybe she's already part of the Guild? That would explain the "leaving the diary" in her house thing. She could be a plant that is brought in to by the controlled "opposition" for the real recruits, and if she steals it she would then leave it in her home for maybe a day or two to give the recruit a chance to prove themselves? Also explains the "you already know the rules" thing. Of course she does. She's done this dozens of times.

I just so happened to be beginning an NG+ playthrough as I started watching this, and hadn't discovered any seeker's tokens yet. So I went to the Sphinx and heard the riddle of rumination. She goes through the same spiel and then sees that you're confused, she then says that when you find a seeker's token, you'll find something along with it. Lo and behold, I found a seeker's token not far from her and found a finder's token along with it. The developers really mapped almost everything out and accounted for it.

4:14:11 Ironically, I think that this says more about someones morality. Ultimately, if a game offers you a choice to save a person and the only consequence is a reward you may or may not get, isn't that a truer example of morality?
@invidatauro89222 күн бұрын
By that, let's say you get no benefit from saving a person in game and the game literally never brings it up again and it only makes your job harder, isn't that saying somethinga bout the person doing hte saving.
@SuperRADLemon2 күн бұрын
I don't know what you are referring to because the timestamp is about infiltrating the mythic dawn. Are you talking about the argonian you save? Also yes, from a meta sense we can glean morals of an individual, I agree. But that being intentional or not sort of matters as it helps the developer convey this notion, rather than being a sort of head canon.
@invidatauro89222 күн бұрын

You leave out the part of the templar that they also protect the mages from the outside world that hates them. Dragon Age makes it clear that as evil as the chantry/templar oppression of the mages is, it is lightyears better than the alternative.

Man I hated the Codex with a passion. It was such a cheap and lazy shortcut to avoid having actual NPCs telling those stories or reading them from in world items. Not to mention how damn difficult it was to find the specific entries you wanted from some damn numbered codex list.

I'm sure someone else has said it, but the "Heroes" of the "Heroes'" Guild are of the ancient use of the word. They're faster & stronger than regular humans. A Hero is a Hero because they're Great &/or do Great deeds. Like Alexander the Great, regardless of morality or whether the deeds are morally black or white. Because "great" & "greatness" doesn't always mean "good". This is what Fable's Heroes are. You can substitute "Hero" with "Demigod". There's also in game lore that Weaver (the Guildmaster) fought with other Heroes in the Guild for the freedom for Heroes to choose which kinds of quests they get to take.

My first playthrough was as a Dwarf Noble. So trust me when I say that it was never about who was best for Orzimar. I'd have crowned a Genlock before giving the throne to Bhelin. Also, and I don't know if you mention this later, when you were explaining the caste system you neglected to mention that someone can jump from any caste to noble by being named Paragon. So there actually is serious upward movement based on merit. Edit: I'm not sure how Ysolde carries blame for Redcliffe, but Jowan doesn't. Jowan poisoned Eamon. That's what caused Connor to make the deal. Hell, even Eamon carries some blame. How much attention do you have to not be paying to not realize that your wife brought a mage into your castle and he's tutoring your son? The only person in that castle who didn't make a critical mistake is Teagan.
@SuperRADLemon5 күн бұрын
I do mention the paragon system, but the main issues with it are 1. You have to do something so revolutionary you basically become a second king, and 2. Many people are so disadvantaged by the caste system that they would never get the opportunity to do those great things

The one thing I find so regrettable about KOTOR 2, and is likely a direct byproduct of the content cuts, is how the non-canon Male Exile is the meta choice, since the handmaiden perk she bestows on the player that adds your wis modifier to defense is infinitely better than the Disciple, who provides nothing. Especially coupled with the fact that there's like 7 bonus wisdom scores you can gain through gameplay, meaning you can become a wisdom-build powerhouse even if you didn't personally invest into wisdom at character creation or level-ups.
