I think I remember it was extra-cool on that attraction (we were in a snowflake, after all).

Its sad to see how management at Disneyland and corporate have neglected Tomorrowland in favor of that god awful Star Wars Galaxys Edge and equally repugnant Marvel garbage...they were NEVER part of Walts vision. They really need to get rid of both and id be the first one applauding

As a child, Inner Space was interesting. I was barely old enough to know what was going on and gullible enough to believe it was really happening. Disneyland, at the time, was a great place to learn about the world we lived in as well as enjoy fantasy and science fiction.

I suggest making a podcast. A Static screen for a video is not Entertaining enough to stay engaged with the video. Goodluck!

This is a podcast and has been for about 11 years. Most podcasts only upload their material to KZfaq for the hearing impaired or hearing-limited so that they can use the closed-caption function to better engage the material. But it is over on iTunes, Spotify, etc.

On KZfaq, Twitch, etc., people often just listen to the video/stream in the background or have open on a second monitor while doing something else. This is totally fine :]

The last segment of this sit down is really important when it talks about Walt Disney's impact on Imagineering and the way guests saw his attractions. All too often you hear not just the top brass of the company, but also activists on social media, say that the park is never finished. That quote by Walt is misattributed all the time and they never finish the full quote. As Mr. Bruce infers, Walt isn't the lead Imagineer anymore so we have to trust that the Disney company will make the right decisions on when and how to replace old attractions. The problem is... they've been wrong so many times.. nearly all of the time.. how can we trust them? These parks are so ingrained in American culture that they are a part of our history, a part of our hearts. If the company wants to drop the pretenses and come out now to say they aren't making attractions for the guests anymore but for their own edifications, that is fine, but they need to say it. I am tired of seeing nostalgic throwback videos in every DIS stock shareholder meeting when they no longer care about those values and have thrust themselves fully into modernism.

I remember being reduced to the size of an atom in 1967. The sounds the "atom" made, and the smell of ozone from the high voltage supplies that energized the "atoms".

Omg. So many memories. 70s went to a Catholic School in Laguna Beach. Spent many days at Disneyland. I have to admit, this was a ride that we had our make out sessions on 😂 😂. Paul Frees voice makes it. We would go on it a lot bc there was never a long wait. Oh those days. Wonderful

That bride is so ugly... I don't like her hair at all and she doesn't look that scary, I kinda wish they didn't make her smile because it makes her look older, I feel that if they gave the smurf bride a blank expression, she would've looked better.

This is the Disneyland I grew up with and loved as a kid. I loved the Mighty Microscope, the People Mover, the Rocket Ride and all the futuristic things they showed off. Why, a phone with a grainy videoscreen where you could actually *see* the person you were talking to? Amazing!

My first time on this ride, was with the prettiest girl I've ever met. We were the odd pair, last, so we hopped in and started the ride; then passion hit us, and we rode the ride 20+ times that night. Can't remember much about the ride, but her passion made it a very enjoyable experience.

Monsanto was so evil. It's Bayer now. We don't want Roundup and their altered DNA GMO food. Interesting how they spun it to be patriotic in classic propaganda form. People lapped that right on up like cats at a milk bowl believing it.

I went to this ride in 1969 (seven years old). I was scared to death by the tiny vehicles with people inside and really concerned about becoming normal size agia. Disneyland better in the 60s, 70s, 80s? Nah , please stop being nostalgic and ask my grandchildren (currently 6 and 5) about being transported to the space, captured by Stormtroopers, threatened by Kylo or their compliance about her mother (my daughter) for crashed several times the Millennium Falcon. Greetings from Mexico
