thank you bro 🙏🙏🙏 i started playing in 2020, i got the first map pack i could find and just started playing the maps, they were all new maps that were using that same predictable template you were describing, i didn't even realise i was digging myself into a hole as i played these maps, and im in deep (like 5 days+ playtime deep) and those farm maps were all ive even known, i even started playing with relax more often than not since i just assumed i was some "aim god" who could hit those star pattern jumps in 8*+ maps despite having top plays that were all under 95% acc and no fc. thank you for opening my eyes and allowing me to finally realise the path i misguidedly followed. since im on a long holliday im going to do my best to relearn the basics from scratch, im deleating all my 727 maps and starting from sctrach. thank you. my account if you want to see: osu.ppy.sh/users/25161514

its good to know a lot of others struggle with similar problems like me. I improved my tapping soooo much over the last couple of months, but I feel like my aim got worse (it probably did). Lucky I stumbled into this video. I was going straight down this path trying to get at least 95-98 ACC with HR, ACC, and NM. And I was NOT having fun doing that so this is some helpful advise to balance out my growth a bit.

I am probably in a good path because i don't even know where to get or how to know when its a jump map or not , i just downloaded a bunch of songs that i could think of so i can just hit random and play whatever it gives me, if it goes bad i don't retry, playing 2 star o 3 stars maximum trying my best to always get above 95% at the very least

I originally started Osu! cuz someone said "yeah its good for downtime and aim training" (was csgo player) now ive been enjoying Osu! ive been going back stars but never was able to master it. Im trying but even 2stars are hard for me to force alternate fingers, maybe its becasue i never gave up on those jump maps XD. Ill keep trying and get rid of the maps lol
