That's not the full picture. You also have to look at Canoo's order book, gradual ramp and its ability to keep raising capital.

@@EVRider Piffle. This company spent 1.7 million dollars leasing the CEOs private jet in a year their total earnings were only 900,000. It's a scam. They lost 200 million in the last 12 months. Who would invest in a company run so obviously as a boondoggle for the "executives"?

Thanks for this video. I’m in Miami and my car flooded two weeks ago. For that reason electric seems like a great move. Thanks for giving me the push to get it. I had a British Racing Green and the EV is the same gorgeous color! Happy Eving! There is also a $4k tax break here for getting the EV!!! Win-win!

I'm so glad average people I meet in the real world are starting to be aware of Lucid. Driving my Air GT for just over 2 years, among the most common questions I have been asked was "Who/What is a Lucid?" More and more now I hear some variation of "I've been looking at Lucids online, but this is the first one I've seen." In any of the versions the Lucid Air is an amazing car. So much so that many 'enthusiastic' Tesla fans and investors feel threatened and have been posting exaggerated negative things about the car and the company. That is unfortunate. There is room enough in the market for both companies. They really sell do different markets. Tesla sells today to people leaving Toyota/Honda/GM while Lucid steals customers from the Mercedes/BMW/Audi market. The base Air GT is close to the same price as a base Model S but driving each will show that they have very different characters.

You've got a great car! I'm so impressed with what Lucid has some up with. I'm not sure what anyone can say negative about the Air itself, other than small nit picks that for the most part come down to personal preferences. As for the company, I'm rooting for them. Lucid makes a solid product.

@@EVRider Thanks. You’ll see lots of comments by the Tesla crowd about Lucid’s finances. That is the main topic now since there are enough Lucids on the road and in showrooms to undermine the digs at the car itself. Lucid has a trillion dollar fund as majority and controlling owner, so sales are attacked and the funds Saudi roots are attacked. Meh. They are just in a panic about their own heavy investments in Tesla’s distracted and drug addled leader.

Like many new businesses the Canoo company is falling apart. I live in OKC and actually considered one of these. I wish they made a hybrid version vs an all EV vehicle. Are you at one of those charging stations powered by a diesel generator?

So how you set it up? My smart ai box doesn't launch any app or anything ??? I'm just in my regular screen

Plug it into your data port. The box should boot up with a welcome screen and direct you from there. If nothing happens after about 30 seconds then I would guess it's one of two things: 1.) You have a car that's not supported. Your car must support WIRED Apple CarPlay 2.) Something's wrong with the unit. If that's the case, then reach out to the company's customer support.

The lcd screen should be in the center so the passenger can use it. The commercial Canoo can have it on the left because they don't have passengers.

The Canoo has been designed as a fleet vehicle. Currently the company is focused only on fleet sales. If down the road Canoo decides to sell to individuals then I suspect there would be some modifications .

What’s also funny is that in road trips, the extra drag this will cause on the roof (which is a highly sensitive area for drag) will probably cost you in range close to what they are claiming - each leg of the trip…

Yea, I don't know. Small vehicles are such a hard sell in the U.S. but Eli does have a compelling product based on what's been shown that is quite different than what Arimoto came up with. Seems like it should appeal to many that consider golf cart purchases.

Nice idea but completely pointless. I would have to drive my Tesla Model 3 for 10 years to even come close to a break even. Also lets not forget that charging your battery too slow is also stressful for the battery.
