Not sure why you made a whole cupboard ford the electric massive waste of space
@TransitCustomCamper6 күн бұрын
Hey.. thanks for checking out the video and the feedback. What did you do on your build? It was my first attempt so be great to get your view? We can still use the cupboard & have since put in a shelf and a partition and a rail also.. so it’s not too bad 😅
@jamesforster408212 күн бұрын
The instrutions actually say to just set the refrigerator temp when using all the space. Ie freezer compartment taken out. And use the freezer setting for the hoke fridge when freezer compartment installed. That said my fridge still freezes following these rules. Annoying.

Any advice please, fridge comnected, lights on but its not getting cool at all and it's been on for hours. Thank you
@TransitCustomCamper19 күн бұрын
Hey! Hrmm not too sure.. You can set the temp of the fridge and also separate for the freezing area.. have you checked that? If still not getting cold then might need to contact the supplier.. ours gets cold pretty quick usually within 30 mins when ambient temperature is fairly cool anyway..

Hi, hopefully you'll see this. Is the voltage on the panel on show 24/7 unless you flick the kill switch? Im worried it will drain the leisure battery if i dont use the van very often but didnt want to install such an extreme kill switch. Could you wire the main feed to one of the little switches so thats what switches the panel on when you flick it? Hope that makes sense
@TransitCustomCamper25 күн бұрын
Hi.. thanks for the comment! Yes I think the panel would be on all the time without the kill switch.. I don’t think the draw down would be massive but yes eventually I guess could start to drain the battery… I guess you could use one of the switches as a main switch.. or could use a smaller separate switch you can get small single ones.. I’d maybe bench test it before fitting and make sure it’s all good 👍 good luck with it!
@MazdaBongo159925 күн бұрын
@@TransitCustomCamper Yeah agreed. I have one in my bongo that switches from Leisure, Car and Off which is nice and straightforward. But I'm converting a transit custom and want a much nicer/clean finish. Think I'm just going to install an isolator like you have. They look really bulky though which is a shame.
