Yes, you can. It will be slightly less soft but it's not too noticeable.

Have made this twice first time with pork chops and using Chinese salt and chilli pepper seasoning to put on the pork chops and didn’t have soy sauce at the time so used balsamic vinegar instead, then second time used chicken thighs, both done on the top of stove and cooked covered for 30 minutes, both turned out very nice and the seasoning gave it a slight kick, very nice xx

How much flour have you used so far and how long did you knead? If you've used 4 to 4 1/4 cup flour then it should be enough. After the first rise it should not be that sticky anymore.

Great work but should added more egg yolk to all that triangle leftover part at 00:48, other than just the tip of it as oil will soak in, which is why the roll still has the ends sticking out at 00:51..its not a perfect roll and it will become separate, ive rolled enough joints and burritos that rolling this was the easiest aha

I tried the recipe today and my family looooves it! Did not have the sour cream so I replaced it with fresh milk for additional moisture of the batter. Still turned out great! This is gonna be my go-to recipe from now on. Thanks for sharing.
