If you have a samsung smart tv (model CU8000) in 2024 like me, with just smart remote or have broke screen, this process works for me: 1. Turn on the TV. 2. Hold down the power button on the TV itself for 5 seconds. 3. Then immediately after, hold down the remote's power button for 5 seconds. 5. The TV will be off for about 30 seconds and then turn on. 6. The TV will enter installation mode. Now unplug the power cable from the TV for 30 seconds.

It really worked. On the right side, the first 12 pins free, then about 17 or a few more covered with tape. And them the flickering is over. Thanks man !

Omg!I usually don't comment but you saved me money! At first I kept putting it in the wrong place but after cutting the tape thinner and starting from left to right not right to left on the left strip I finally got it to stop flickering. Took about 2 hrs but definently worth it. Thank you so much ❤

from left to right? Which way did you have the TV then? did you leave the 10 pins on the right side open and then cut the tape smaller and smaller on the other side?

@@baron4238 hey, what I meant was that i was putting the tape on the wrong side. You know how in the video his problem is on the right strip, so he puts the tape on the right strip counting the ten lines from right to left? My problem was on the left strip not the right. But I, like the guy from the video counted the 10 lines from right to left on the left strip(not the same as his since his was the right strip) in stead of counting the 10 lines from the left to the right. When I finally did it the right way with like 1 inch of tape it worked and is still working till today.🤗

This is my 2nd KDC-X705 unit that the Protect send service came on. I sent the first one back and it was exchanged after only using for 1 month. The 2nd one lasted 8 months before the PROTECTING SEND SERVICE came on and I was told to send it back under the 2 yr warranty. Your GREAT info got it working again. I have all new JBL631 speakers installed with the first unit installed. THANK YOU SO MUCH.😀

Samsung UE50NU7400 worked for me! My screen was all black when i unplugged a cable, covered the same cable from pin 11 to 24 inclusive. Hope the problem does not start again, THANKS A LOT! Grazie 1000 sei grande!

hey mate i used this method today on the same head unit here in australia thanks bud i got a car of a mate for free and he had no idea of the password it was 11111 possibly a default password the sd card trick works very well

Does anyone have any experience with a UE43NU7400UXXU? The screen still flickers when covering pin 11-20. Also, I can't tell which ribbon could be affected because it doesn't show half the screen when disconnecting each ribbon. The screen is blank when turned on.
