We call 'em Gaftop here on the Sargent Texas gulf coast, only inland fishermen call 'em Catfish when they come down.😂

Do you think daytime with high sun is not good for shark fishing, or does it not matter? Enjoyed the video.

Spartan tackle your videos are the only videos I watch on KZfaq or any other platform. You guys are the best of the best! I been watching and liking a few videos early morning before work and the gym. Im saving up to buy a Avet 80 reel which I will for sure purchase from your website with your leaders and maybe a few T shirts. Just want to help support your channel since you guys provide such wonderful and very useful information. Would love to go shark fishing with you in future if possible. Anyways I will continue watching and liking your videos. In a few weeks I will be purchasing from your website. Steve Nolte San Diego CA

You talk about releasing quick and minimizing harm, you jammed the pliers into r he hook in its mouth, were ill equipped and hands right by its mouth...YOU ALL SUCK AND IM MOVING TO HAVE THIS TAKEN DOWN, GO LEARN HOW TO SHARK FISH 🖕

You left that out of the water so long. No way it survives
@alextrebek61012 ай бұрын
It seems like taking the time to tag and get dna sample is counter productive because its that much extra time the shark is out of the water and more likely to die after being released.

Because most sharks are actually an endangered species look it up. They’re killed by the millions each year for finning and they can’t reproduce quickly.

Sick man you've got me hyped for this weekend ! Hitting Gorda with the buddies. Was that last shark on the small black reel a fathom casting special? Just got one excited to use it
@BeachSharkFishing3 ай бұрын
It is a fathom casting special. I put 50# braid and matched it with a Penn carnage 3 12' heavy duty. Super fun.
@ryanpickett66193 ай бұрын
@BeachSharkFishing perfect thanks for answering that! I've got one on a 12' big water and super stoked to take it for a spin, what rig did you use off of it if I may ask?
