It's stunning how similar the views Meeks expresses have in common with radical Islam. See the BBC documentary "The Power Of Nightmares." Also, to me, very little Meeks says here has to do with love, or a God of love. It is much more akin to the psychology of an abusive father -- love me or else (go to Hell). There is indeed plenty of immorality and corruption in the USA. But we have one business uni-party -- demoncrats and repugnicans both serve a sociopathic power elite -- which drives all these bad things (sin, division, hate, fear, etc) God is always referred to as "Heavenly Father" and all about LOVE.. But if we look at the psychology of the Christian God, it's often hard to see where love comes into the picture. So much of His psychology is so bad as to make any abusive parent look like a teddy bear: No loving parent would give birth to their children knowing full well they are prone to rebellion. No loving parent would allow their children to be deceived by a talking serpent they have no idea were there (or did know, but doesn't step in). No loving parent would severely punish their children by making their entire lives a living hell just for one simple act of disobedience. No loving parent would punish their children's descendants for their disobedience. No loving parent would order their children to sacrifice their own children just to test their loyalty to them. No loving parent would demand their children to worship them 24/7 and punish them horribly if they didn't. No loving parent would demand their children to love them more than everyone else. No loving parent would kill infants to make a point about something. No loving parent would kill their children for praising and worshiping inanimate objects instead of them. No loving parent would kill their children for talking bad about them. No loving parent would kill their children for complaining about their struggles. No loving parent would create children born with disabilities, deformities, disorders, or illnesses. No loving parent would make their children suffer horribly and expect them to praise them no matter what. No loving parent would sacrifice one of their "favorite" children just to appease their wrath against their children. No loving parent would encourage their children to not to defend themselves against assholes. No loving parent would sit idly by when their children is suffering tyranny, oppression, enslavement, poverty, and hardship. No loving parent would tell their suffering children to depend on them even though the suffering won't end. No loving parent would consider their children their enemy because they were born into sin after what their first children have done. No loving parent would tell their children they love them unconditionally yet threaten to punish them forever if they didn't love them back. No loving parent would cause natural disasters to punish their children for forgetting them. No loving parent would cause apocalyptic events to happen just to get people to choose them. No loving parent would punish their children for not forgiving their tormentors, especially if they are not sorry. Most of all, no loving parent would subject their children to a torture chamber forever if they didn't live up to their expectations. Christ seems to be a lot more loving than God -- love thy enemy, turn the other cheek, feeding and curing and caring for the poor, good samaritan... that all sounds like love to me. But what Meeks speaks of here? Not much at all. What Meeks is doing is selectively interpreting the Bible in order to push division and hate so as to direct the frustration and fear people have toward things that are not the root causes. The root causes are the godless sociopaths who puppetmaster over "both" parties as a way to put profit before people.

If you understand it, it's not God. But listen to Meeks because he understand God... 🤔
