Great tutorial! Thank you…. What size are your squares? I need to make 5” squares to contribute for children’s charity event. What do you suggest! Down size hook or crochet less rows? Big thanks!!

Wonderful podcast ❤. My question is, if i want to make the hexies larger, as i am using fingering weight yarn, can i just repeat the 4th round until i am happy with the size hexie. So happy i came across your channel.😊

Good. Clear instruction. However, I have to mute as I feel like you sound as if you are talking to children. Also, please, less useless commentary.

Can you do a tutorial video of how you made these particular granny squares I’m particularly looking for how you made the pattern. I am a beginner, but I would love to be able to make this exact granny. If you can do a tutorial that would be so helpful thank you so much.

Its on her site and also she has that same square in her collection and just pause it and go slow on the video to look at it. Use the three dots on top of the video to control the speed

This is great! I'm always so annoyed when you can see the starting chains of the rounds in granny squares and this hides them so beautifully! Do you think I could make some regular solid granny squares and some sunburst granny squares and arrange them checker board-style to make a blanket? Do you have a video for making basic solid granny squares that also hides the starting chain of each round?

I actually have that pattern coming out this October…I can’t say any more than that because it’s part of something with a dyer for 2025. 😮 However-in the meantime there is a pattern of mine called the Nordic Star Sunburst Blanket and it has both the written and video tutorials for the sunburst and solid squares that you could follow! It’s free at Nautikrallcrochet.com❤

Your 'bobble' stitch is more commonly known as a 4dc cluster, for those that come across it in other patterns. Nice granny sq though 😊

Do you begin and end each row the same way, i.e. indented hexie or outwardly hexie?

In the case of the purple showing through, if you back whipped it all the way around, it would’ve looked intentional on the back.🤷🏻♀️
