A rare glimpse of one of the greatest, possibly the greatest, rock and roll bands to ever exist. Great footage of Lowell playing the slide guitar. Feels like lifetimes ago, and makes me want to cry...but I won't. Waiting for Columbus remains their testament, still the album I would most want to be stranded on a desert island with. Lowell, Ritchie, Paul...loved all you guys. Bill, Sam, Kenny...you guys too. All of you were the best of rock and roll.

@@AudricDenis Would be great to think quality never dies and maybe people in future will rediscover them but there’s no sign. Doubt if they get many listens from anyone under 60.

I saw Solomon and an amazing backup band at the House of Blues in the French Quarter in 1994. The best live music performance I’ve ever seen.

So everything the 'Britpop' bands claimed to have invented but more than a decade earlier... I wonder where blur got their ideas from?

What a chanter Frankie boy was btw .. I'm fae Glesga masel lol .. But I'm surprised by the amount of negative comments re the audience, to me they just didn't speak English & even if some of them did a bit they'd have no chance of understanding our dialect or humour! 🤣🤣

I was introed to this great song by Suede. Hearing them sing it I thought it was an original song of theirs. I told my mum to listen to it, and she was the one who told me it was a cover. Colour me surprised at that.
