does this heater have an ambient thermostat? I use a similar model but it didn't stop at all even though the temperature was high inside... I also brought the display closer to the heat source for 1-2 minutes but the heater continued to run without stopping. I tried manually on the lowest gear with no result
@Moes_AdventuresАй бұрын
If is a different model than this one it will not turn off automatically. Only this specific model has that function.

Hi, did you figure out how to prime it? I'm looking at my manual and seeing that you use the rocker switch but I can't seem to locate it
@Moes_AdventuresАй бұрын
Unplug the power and plug it back in. Then immediately press and hold the down button until it starts to prime. Takes about 7 seconds. Do not Press any other buttons before pressing the down button. Hope this helps😁

The 2kw heater is more costly, and the new controller mounted, should be available for the large type heater. Hopefully the 2 kw heater goes into full output, during the time it on. The larger heater should not be run under #3 to prevent sooting. Performance will be based on how well your space is insulated, and size.

Nice tip on the air intake. I'd try cutting bars out of the cap until you can no longer detect an air flow difference. I will be doing that.

@ianmalo75862 ай бұрын
Idk if someone answered the priming issue or not but the only thing that worked for me to prime was to pull the fuse, plug it back in but don't power it on, just hold the down button for 7 secs and the pump kicks in for 300 seconds

is it a problem to install it vertically?
@Moes_Adventures2 ай бұрын
My understanding is it can only be orientated with the exhaust facing down or to the one specific side. Ex. The control wire has to be facing the top or the bottom but I can’t remember which way is correct.

Thank you for going thru the settings... ...as far as needing someone to go thru their manual, good luck with that... I just bought a set of appliances from likely the world's largest manufacturer (also made in PRC) and even with a staff of thousands they wrote some passages in Chinglish and had major errors in details eg front load washer load washer manual labeled as "Top Load" right on cover LOL

Everything is very good, you can even silence the voice which was something I wanted, but I would like the screen to turn off as time passes.As in the previous versions, which had to be left on for a while, the screen would turn off and thus there would be no annoying light and energy consumption.

Ever heard of not reinventing the wheel! 🤦♂️ those “grates” on that cap are designed to only allow X amount of air flow FOR A REASON! If it doesn’t run right send it back and have vevor replace it.

@3dphillo3964 ай бұрын
Just ordered a heater from Vevor with bluetooth. I am thankful for your video and @maseeukhan's post as I needed this info when I set my new heater up for the first time in the wifes car. I live in Canada and our winters a cold. She works at night and will be alone in a parking lot. While her car is running and warming up, she is outside the car cleaning off the windows and brushing off the snow. If the car is already warm inside when she gets off work, no need to scrap the windows. Just start the car and head home. Thanks for your video.

2 Problems tank hight & condensation in the exhaust. Exhaust makes water like a car. As it cools condensation comes out of the exhaust and can block the exhaust pipe if it travels upward. Fuel can slowly leak past the pump when not being used due to gravity filling the button of the burn chamber and into the exhaust pipe. Place your fuel tank so the top of the tank is lower than the bottom of the heater.

By cutting off the power usually will fry the mother board because the unit over heats so fast! You got luck if yours didn't burn up. I am looking for some kind of cast iron hot water radiator or hot water finned tube from a baseboard heater to run my exhaust thru before exiting the room. That would keep more heat in the room and the tube will be cooler running thru the wall.
@twistedtuner34674 ай бұрын
I am considering a unit with this same "NEW" controller. Has anyone figured out how to get a "advanced settings" menu? Or at least have these run in HERTZ mode? I have a different controller that is bluetooth with a dial on the right. With a setting button above and power below. I don't think it has any way of doing the above options listed.

I just ordered these parts off Amazon and they are called “boat through-hull heater exhaust” They are inexpensive and seem to hold up pretty good
@PainterD544 ай бұрын
Get rid of that green clear fuel line. It is garbage. It can swell and leak causing a fire being it is so close to the exhaust which can get as high as 800 degrees on high! Also, run your air intake to the outside - cold air ignites better because it is more dense and you don't want to waste any warm inside air for your burner.
@coloradomallcrawlers4 ай бұрын
Just be careful. Within one month of operation, my vevor set off my CO alarm inside my camper. The heater is outside in the tongue box and the intake and exhaust are away from each other. Had a previous Chinese diesel heater work for two years in the exact same spot. Helpful video tho… that manual was the pits.

@@Moes_Adventures Hey bud, quick suggestion if you don't mind. I used Permitex Exhaust Sealant on the exhaust connection to the machine. It only cost $3.99 USD for a whole tube. I used about the same amount as you put toothpaste on a toothbrush. FYI is all.
