Thanks for vid. Really helpful and I am saving this as a reference. Also, I was able to make the prime function work. Here is the procedure: 1. Disconnect power 2. Wait till screen is black 3. Connect power 4. Wait till it shows 12:00 on the screen 5. Press and hold the down button till you see 300 on the screen and the pump starts 6. You can turn off the pump anytime before 300 seconds by pressing the power button. DO NOT PRESS ANY OTHER BUTTON. THIS ONLY WORKS ONCE FOR EVERY POWER CYCLE. If any other button is pressed, it won't work. Hope you can get it to work😂

TY! Mine loses prime everytime I drive (fuel line connected to fuel tank) so I'd like to be able to prime it when I park. I can let it run 2-3 start ups and that works too but was hoping it would be more energy efficient and better for the heater to prime it manually after I drive.

@@AwayToMeBus no problem! “maseeukhan” instructions are spot on. Tried it on my heaters and works great. If you need longer than 300 seconds to prime the fuel, you just have to unplug the controller and plug it back in again and you should be good to go.

@@AwayToMeBus I think your vehicle's fuel pump is likely sucking your heater line empty. I'm not sure if you could find one small enough, but a check valve in the heater line would prevent this from happening.

Just be careful. Within one month of operation, my vevor set off my CO alarm inside my camper. The heater is outside in the tongue box and the intake and exhaust are away from each other. Had a previous Chinese diesel heater work for two years in the exact same spot. Helpful video tho… that manual was the pits.

Just ordered a heater from Vevor with bluetooth. I am thankful for your video and @maseeukhan's post as I needed this info when I set my new heater up for the first time in the wifes car. I live in Canada and our winters a cold. She works at night and will be alone in a parking lot. While her car is running and warming up, she is outside the car cleaning off the windows and brushing off the snow. If the car is already warm inside when she gets off work, no need to scrap the windows. Just start the car and head home. Thanks for your video.

I searched the internet high and low yesterday for anything about the newest BT Interface Module and couldn't find anything. I needed to prime my heater and couldn't (like you, never got it to work). After 3 hours I finally got mine to fire up. Sadly YT linked me to your video a day too late. But great tutorial. The best info was the symbol correction for the manual. That made it so frustrating. I may whiteout mine and pen the correction, or at least add a note. Another side note to newer installers, make sure fuel is getting to the pump so it can actually prime. Mine struggled until I primed the pump and afterwards it was off to the races. Also, the tank does not have to be above the heater, once the pump is primed, you are good. Anyone having issues with the BT App being stuck in Celsius? Although my control interface is set to Fahrenheit? Also, I had combustion (start up) issues with my camper's 12VDC convertor. The heater won't start up because voltage drops too much and throws a code (guess the concertor is too weak). Watch the BT app and you will see these things really suck the amps/voltage when the glow plug is heating.
@Moes_Adventures4 ай бұрын
It seems to be a common issue with the app being stuck in Celsius As far as I know, it is a developer issue they will have to rectify Yeah, definitely draws around 7-8 Amps on start up and shut down.

Great video! Any info on how to get this into Alpine/high altitude mode, or do you have to manually set the altitude to get it to run leaner?
@Moes_Adventures5 ай бұрын
My understanding of the manual was, it is supposed to address the air fuel mixture automatically based on the elevation. That being said, I have heard from other commenters, and have experienced for myself that the altitude is not entirely accurate
@randybobandy98284 ай бұрын
It automatically adjust for altitude. If you hold the up and down button for 3 seconds, you can then scroll through the menu and it will show you your current altitude on the screen. Mine says 511meter.

Everything is very good, you can even silence the voice which was something I wanted, but I would like the screen to turn off as time passes.As in the previous versions, which had to be left on for a while, the screen would turn off and thus there would be no annoying light and energy consumption.
@FreddyHFK5 ай бұрын
is there a possibility to reduce the hysteresis? for example I set 15 degrees and it stopped when it reached 18 then restarted at 12. it seems a lot to me. and one more question, do you need a special cable to extend the control panel? thank you. to prime the "down" button must be pressed and held as soon as power is supplied to the unit.
@Moes_Adventures5 ай бұрын
I do not believe there is a way to do that. The heater i have seems to turn on at 2° below set temperature, then turns off at 1° above. It would be nice to adjust that for sure. If i were to extend the controller wire, i would just cut and splice it myself with the same size wire.
@andreiagyo20435 ай бұрын
Hi! Nice video. Is the controller reading the temperature or something else inside the shell, like a temperature sensor inside the itself diesel heater?

The controller reads the temperature of the space you are heating. The shell also gives a temperature read out to show how hot the combustion temperature is.

I have a heater with a removable display. Would I have a problem if I cut the wire and sliced in an extension cord by 3 meters?
@Moes_Adventures4 ай бұрын
People extend their display wire quite often to have it in a better spot. As long as you keep your extension wire the same gauge as the original wire you should have no problem!
@garypotter17464 ай бұрын
@@Moes_Adventures Thank you Moe. What would you suggest to connect them together with?
@Moes_Adventures4 ай бұрын
@@garypotter1746 i would just splice in the same gauge wire from the connector at the controller, and run it into the existing wires. Then you can still disconnect the controller if you ever wanted to. Find the same size (gauge) wire and cut the wires to the length you need and use some heat shrinkable butt connectors. Unless you are good with soldering, then it will be less bulky. Finish it off with some split loom so it looks nicer.

I was hoping they allowed air fuel ratio adjustments since a lot need tuning for elevation.. and for whatever reason the elevation readout does not actually adjust a/f ratio or anything.
