weird comment but just bear with me: I found this video while googling this ingredient because I was told to use Swiss Navy in my hair…Thats the main ingredient in that product which is a personal lubricant lol. Anyway. If its safe for the inside of us then its fine for our faces and hair ♥️ Thanks for making this btw! Great review and now I need to make a yesstyle order 😅

@mein4026 күн бұрын
Yes! Tanning from the sun or tanning on the bed? Either way there is some damage done to the skin so I’ll focus on exfoliation, laser as well as sun protection.

I was given one of these as a gift. I had no clue how to use it. I’m glad I looked it up and your video came up. My first thought was to put a bar of soap inside 😂 one question though do you do it with the shower still running and with water on running on the skin or just turn off the shower rub down with the cloth then rinse off?
@mein40Ай бұрын
Steam from the shower is beneficial, but if you are conscious about water conservation, I suggest do all your washing (including shaving and hair wash) in a really steamy shower and as the last step, you can exfoliate once your skin is fully soaked in water.

What's the maintenance for this towel? Do you throw it away after a few uses? Or maybe you wash it in the washing machine like a regular towel?
@mein402 ай бұрын
I wash it in warm water after each use to makes sure there are no skin cells left. Then I dry (in the sun when possible). It lasts a long time too. Putting it in the washing machine may cause damage to the towel but it can also snag other items in the washing machine so I tend not to do that.

Hi @SugaSwag, I love moisturizing right after the shower to lock in the hydration from the shower. I like naturally scented, or no scented products like pure aloe vera (hotter weather), shea butter (dry colder weather) or clean products since the skin on our body covers alot of surface area!

Glass facials are everywhere. But in our 40s, I try to look for facials that use higher quality products than what I would use at home, clean ingredients and tools like masking or LED. I base mein40 facials on the Korean way to include all, plus tea ritual to promote glass glow from within.

Thanks for the info! I recently "levelled up" to matcha from regular green tea, and it's been a wonderful journey! As *already* a fan of Japanese culture, it was an easy step, (and goes great during our anime binges.) As someone who struggles with anxiety, and OCD issues, it has been HUGELY beneficial in its "calming" properties. 😎

How wonderful to hear. A matcha every morning helps get me up earlier and without the caffeine crash. I appreciate you watching and would love recommendations for matcha powders.
@taylora88457 ай бұрын
Thanks for the msg, and so true! As far as matcha "recommendations," the brand I having been loving for everyday teas/lattes, is "Everyday Matcha" (by Sencha Naturals.) It is a blend of 1st harvest "ceremonial" with 2nd harvest "culinary." (To me, "ceremonial" grade means just that, & it's best reserved for special occasions lol.) Other hacks I found in my short matcha journey so far; 1. A YETI insulated mug to keep it hot longer, (in seafoam green to match my matcha lol.) 2. A CORDED milk frother, (as I learned the hard way that batteries go FAST in battery powered ones.) 3. And lastly, to keep matcha powder fresh, I JUST picked up the (1.9 qt rectangle size) Oxo airtight container, which stores PERFECTLY the 12 ounce bulk bag of Sencha Naturals "Everyday!" (I store it in bag to block light.) My daily latte recipe is 3/4 cup hot water, 1/4 cup whole milk, & 1/2 tsp of matcha powder! @@mein40

This mitt isn't working on my skin even after properly following the procedure...can you please tell me what am i doing wrong
@mein4010 ай бұрын
Hi @deeznutz. I’ve heard and read comments that the mitt can be too small for some people’S hands. My tip has been to scrub in one direction so that the mitt doesn’t slide off. But if you mean you aren’t seeing the dead skin cells coming off, it may mean you need a deeper soak of your skin. If you are showering then try warmer water until your fingers prune. Also, sometimes it takes a few tries to get skin to roll off. Especially if you’ve never exfoliated with the mitt before. Please let me know more details of what’s not working if you need more help.
